Hobo Cat Adventures

A indie look on classics as Conker's Bad Fur Day. What can you say about Hobo Cat Adventures that isn't in the title? Enjoyable weird game ^^

I beat this on Steam Deck, with no real issues. Good: You're a Cat. You're a Hobo. You go on Adventures Short, fun overall. Humor. Cons: Some really annoying platforming stuff. Some mechanics aren't explained well like the spin jump. The good ending is locked behind getting all the money bags, which I assume the stuff I missed was probably hiding behind some annoying platforming stuff, so I didn't get the good ending. Overall: Fun for the half-off price I paid.

I had to get this game refunded. I played for such little time, I didn't even pass the first level. Why? Both my controller and keyboard ceased functionality while playing, at random. I had to TURN OFF MY PC as it was entirely unresponsive. Not even disconnecting and reconnecting the keyboard did anything. I also plugged in another entirely different brand of keyboard, and still no response. Aside from that gripe, it simply didn't feel good to play. The controls and camera were clunky. Collectables had to be stood on top of to pick them up. All in all disappointing from a game so generally highly rated. I cannot recommend this game.

awesome game :D good bait as well with the lower platform next to the hidden boss room, half my deaths were becouse i was sure i missed something there haha

looks and plays like a mangy, filthy alley cat. simultaneously ugly and charming in presentation, gameplay fluctuating between clunky stumbles and agile bounds through the air, this game is dirty in every sense of the word and I think that's great. big props to the dev for putting info on secrets and debug codes in the guides page.
