I woke up with Tchaikovsky's 1812 overture in my head. Don't know if I dreamt of it or what. I turned on my computer, listened through the overture once to kick off my day on a cheerful note, merrily humming to the melody with my eyes closed and my fingers doubling as an orchestra conductor's hands as the last bars heralded the end of the piece. I shook off my trance and booted up this game, unsure whether it had been a good purchase, thinking I could try it out before the two-hour refund window expired. Played through the tutorial and in the first mission I approach a diorama. I insert a coin. I was still half asleep and couldn't understand how - or why - my Spotify was again running Tchaikovsky's 1812 overture. It made no sense. I used to have a keyboard with a pause/resume button for music, but my current one doesn't have one, so there was no way I had accidentally pressed it. And then, as the diorama lit up and I could make out tiny French and Russian flags, with miniature cannons firing on their minuscule enemies, I came to the realisation that the music was coming from the game. Kept on playing, never looked back. 10/10 Seriously, though, the game is a blast. I'm loving it. It's fun and engaging and I love the thrill of completing a clockwork mission where you go in, take out your target, and then get out, with no one being any the wiser.
Gud gaem.

Hitman 3 is one of the best stealth games I've ever played. Every mission gives you so many ways to complete it, and it's always fun to experiment. Great gameplay and endless replay value. Highly recommended!
