Buen juego, bonita historia y narrativa (al menos, durante mi primera partida) y +1 por poder interactucar con el gato. Haré una nueva quest en breves, gracias <3
Flower, Sun, And Rainbow A uncompromising slice of queer life with immaculate scenography. I almost could have done without the walk and talk gameplay, just watching the story unfold by itself would have been enough. Still, I did enjoy exploring Santiago de Chile for the first few days, but then a certain Groundhog Day effect settled in (luckily there is no time loop at play here, thank heavens), one that many life games like Shenmue share: You always start at home, feed the cat and make your way to the city by bus, where your tasks of the day await. This is definitely MY problem, but I'm always torn between enjoying the mundanity that I recognize from my own life and wishing for more excitement in forms of unexpected deviations from the everyday. Taking a bus to a different part of the city, or not even taking the bus at all! Anyway, please play this if you're craving queer media not made for your Mom and Dad to "understand". Speaking of understanding: Not sure if the wobbly English translation is part of the appeal or maybe keeps some important scenes from fully landing. But even with that, the audiovisual direction is so good that everything makes sense emotionally, all the time.

A sweet little game centered on queerness, community, love, movies, and street food. I love any game that renders food this adorably (Moon Remix heads shout out). It has rough edges mechanically but put together so carefully that you can appreciate the artistic intent behind everything even if moving around feels a little weird. The vocal tracks are really nice too. The characters, who I already liked from the previous games, are even better in this one. I found myself relating to Nam a lot. I kind of wish there were more background characters with meaningful changing dialogue, there are a few but it would open things up to have a more lively setting. Everything here is lovely though, it's a remarkably well paced and atmospheric slice of life. Healthy dose of polyamory for the soul
beautiful <3
hacer arte por, para y con nuestros seres queridos.
very pleasing colours, light, and sound
Enjoyed this game very much, short, sweet and loved the soundtrack.
This game play is rough, the texture work is ugly, the audio levels are inconsistent, and the translation is poor. However, the story told and the cinematography used to express that story act as a cohesion making the total experience more than the sum of its parts. The vibe I got from the promotional material, I thought this was going to be about an abusive relationship. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the game is about community and how marginalized folk rely on one another in the face of adversity. There isn't really much to say on the game play front, as when you're not locked into dialogue or cutscenes progressing the story, you're wandering about a handful of locations, usually performing a task to interact with the same few spots. While I feel the game probably could have cut down on how often you were tasked to hit up all these locations, it does lead into one mechanic as metaphor,
where the player is injured, and while they should be resting, a character asks them to perform a task. Too timid to say no, they have to slowly hobble their way to complete it,
and that does a good job conveying why
Atlas is mad later.
Still, the excess of walking doesn't deter from the narrative as a whole, and if you want to experience something rough and raw, this is a good game. HITM3 is a very difficult to describe game, but it does things that few other games would with narrative, it makes something beautiful out of the mundane. In the abstract it is a story of a throuple and some friends deciding that they want to make a movie while being poor in a postcovid santiago, chile. It almost feels like watching a film even though it requires player interaction most of the time-- I feel like this is due to the strong influence of arthouse films, everything feels intentional, and deeply human. there really isn't anything like it. I will return in a bid to describe it better.
Really enjoyable experience, the vibes are immaculate, the art style is great, the soundtrack is amazing, I love gay people, you should play this
