Really good game. Nice indie retro game that happens to be about Hiragana. Well done.
Removed Without Announcement. Not Nice :(
Great game not sure what the other person was talking about not getting past the 3rd level. I have been doing hiragana less than a week and basically beat the game in less than an hour.... LOL the only problem I have had is I can't actually reach platform 14 because there is some sort of storyline mission I have to finish where it keeps bringing me back after it tells me to kneel in the cave. The tablet with the prophecy isn't much help as I cannot properly translate it myself and no translating app can give me a proper translation just something about aliens are coming?? Overall a good game, there could be some easy fixes though, when the player runs into any enemy from behind it damages you, this should not happen. Also with some of the later enemies they can keep hitting you taking life multiple times in what should be 1 hit. Other than those 2 major flaws and they ending I recommend to anyone learning hiragana, this will make you a little bit faster for sure.

Could be really good but it's way too hard. It's hard to pick up the kana when you're getting beat up. I'm on level 3 and there are these boxer type guys that are WAY too hard. I'm constantly getting bounced between mobs and dying. It's also unfair that the mobs seem to have a further attack range than me. I have to be right up on them while they can be like 5ft away. Very often we will attack at the same time and I get hit but they don't. I don't see myself getting past level 3 unfortunately.
Pretty fun education game for leaning Hiragana.
Great game, made practicing my Hiragana more interesting than using flash cards, that's for sure. I wish the storyline was easier to understand. I know the major point of the game is to learn the hiragana, but I'm stuck towards what I assume is the end of the game. Also, I wish there had been instructions on how the game vs the homeowner with the gun works because its' not like any other task in the game and it took me 15 tries to figure out exactly what I needed to do. Overall, gameplay is fun, the music is decent, and it's a great way to practice hiragana. I just wish the storyline had more hints and was easier to follow. Midway through the game I realized there was a "prophecy" and went "what?".
