Hindsight 20/20 - Wrath of the Raakshasa

Un Action RPG avec des choix d'ordre moral ! Vidéo de découverte : https://youtu.be/4ePAkJZnKzs Le jeu est assez sobre au niveau des graphismes mais cela permet une bonne lisibilité des combats. Je n'ai pas noté de problèmes au niveau performance ou maniabilité du personnage, ce qui est très important pour ce type de jeu. Les dialogues permettent d'influencer la suite de notre aventure, tout comme le choix de notre arme en début de mission ou avant d'attaquer un Boss. On pourra effectivement choisir la vengeance avec une épée ou bien le pardon avec un bâton qui va endormir neutraliser les ennemis sans les tuer. Je joue actuellement en normal et je pense que j'aurais du prendre en Hard car les combats sont pour l'instant facilement réalisables (il y 4 niveaux de difficultés de Story à Expert). Le jeu propose également des puzzles qui ne sont pas insurmontables. La priorité restant le combat et le choix dans les dialogues. Reste maintenant à voir la durée de vie d'une partie ainsi que l'intérêt de la re jouabilité (10 fins différentes suivant les choix). Bon jeu !

Very fun combat with animations that make you feel like a total badass. I love that enemies react differently depending on your weapon choice and there's morality to consider in your quest to saving (?) your town. Also stellar music & sound design, really adds to the experience. Can't wait to play more and then replay the game while being super evil!

The story is okay but overall just eh

Don't get this game even if its on sale. For free....only if you really have nothing to do and your bored to hell. Otherwise dont touch this boring ass game.

(My playtime's not quite accurate as I played offline for a while, my total playtime should be around 8 hrs) Pros: +Fluent combat, good feedback, great on controller +Plenty of branches with long consequences, good replayability +Decently deep story +Good price +No bug encountered Cons: -Why puzzles? I don't dislike them overall, but puzzles does not go well with replayability. Questionable design choice. -Characters are not as fledged out as I had hoped, making the consequences feel less important because the characters haven't had the opportunity to grow on you. Room for improvements: - Better save mechanics. Let player explore different branches by choices instead of replaying the game from the tutorial. - Cutscenes and dialogues need a skip button, after twice or three times they feel like a chore, especially with the first cutscene lasting somewhat 3 minutes with not a lot happening Overall it's quite a feat delivering such a polished game with such a small crew. Hope the devs continue their good work and produce more games in the future. :D
