Highway Game

[b]Highway Game[/b] plays and feels a lot like one of those Flash-based/HTML 5 browser game that you can usually play for free. The hard truth is - it's not exactly the sort of game I'd spend money to buy on Steam unless it's bundled with some other games that I'm also interested in. That is not to say that the game isn't good or challenging to play though! [h1]Watch me play![/h1] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUcPyra5V70 - The music got on my nerve at level 5 and I had to turn it off. In Highway Game, the goal is to get to the finish line by speeding through a road that's just filled with traffic. There are some coins to collect along the way which will determine how many "stars" out of 3 you'll get per level, but you should pay more attention to the fuel tanks because that's what you'll need if you're going to get to the end. You start the game with half a tank of fuel after all, and that is not enough to get you to the end... at least for level 6 onward. Like "normal" traffic, there will be crazy drivers on the road that may cut into your lane or ram into other cars and cause a build-up in front. It's important to avoid those, or any obstacle, including barriers, the trees by the roadside, etc, since your car can only take so much damage. However, I've noticed that you don't receive "side damage" but only frontal damage. So if you really need to "push" the traffic in front aside to make way, you can try pushing them using the side of your front bumper. There are also police cars on the road can also act crazy as well. Bumping into them will cause them to make chase and unless you have a clear path ahead to nitro boost your way through, these police cars will ram you until you crash. I'm not a fan of the background music as well. It's not only incredibly discordant, making it a pain to listen to; I simply had to turn it off at one point (level 5 in my vid) and then I noticed this - Muting the music = muting the entire game. So you won't be able to hear crashes or police sirens at all, and the game plays out in complete silence. I should also point out that Highway Game comes with a multiplayer mode that is apparently split-screen only. I tried hosting a game myself but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to work. Maybe you'd have better luck with it, who knows? Now, in terms of feedback, I'd say that it would have been nice if there's a car customization option - even a simple one with a few cars to buy - would be great. This would have been a nice way to spend the coins collected in-game. So, to sum it up... I'm not sure what my 2 cents are worth to the devs, but I would recommend either licensing your game on CodeCanyon or partnering up with a HTML 5/flash/etc (browser) game publisher. You might gain a bit more returns that way. Highway Game is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a cash grab. It's a minimalist 2D top down endless runner where you steer a car left and right on a pastel coloured highway, avoiding other cars and trying not to get too dented or run out of fuel.. This looks and feels like a Unity asset flip and has all the same qualities as one. This closely resembles the [url=https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/2d-infinite-car-racing-22089]2D Infinite Car Racing Starter Kit[/url] by Mariam Sarishvili, and might just be a reskin of that asset pack. Locked resolution and controls, mobile app tier shallow gameplay... if this isn't an asset flip, it might as well be one. There's no appeal here for serious gamers.

Love the game and i played 5 levels and loved it will play more i recommend it to who ever loves arcade type games that give you some hard levels.
