This game proves Traps are NOT gay.
This is such a lovely experience. For those who think this is a hentai game, it's not. There's *some* exposure of skin, but I would say it's good for people in their late teens, no genitalia or anything. It's just a short story about choosing your crush, assisting them and building a relationship with them. The dialogue is very cute and I love the main character's femininity in it. Heartwarming <3

Crossdressing: The Visual novel! I kid you not that is the whole game. You are an effeminate looking guy who crossdresses and gets into risque situations with 2 highschool girls and your principle. I can only recommend this game if you have a thing for feminization or crossdressing yourself. Nothing particularly interesting happens as it can be summed up as typical highschool events with the occasional reminder that yes, you are a guy dressed as a girl and you don't want anyone else to know but after interacting with you for like 5 mins. they will know. Selina doesn't even look like she was drawn the same way as the rest of the game. Seriously wait until this is on sale for like $5 if you are curious but don't expect a masterpiece; just girls in their bras, panties, some kissing and if you go for Lea a maid scene.
Highschool Romance is an anime-inspired visual novel developed and published by Dharker Studios, a developer known for creating short romantic narrative games that focus on character-driven storytelling and branching relationship routes. Designed using the Ren’Py engine, the game delivers a straightforward dating-sim experience centered around dialogue choices, multiple endings, and a cast of potential love interests. While modest in scope and production scale, the game aims to provide a lighthearted romantic narrative set within a familiar high school environment, offering players a casual experience that emphasizes character interaction over complex gameplay systems. The premise begins with an unusual but comedic situation. The protagonist is about to begin his final year of high school when an unexpected administrative mistake transfers him to an all-girls academy. What initially appears to be an enviable scenario quickly proves to be more complicated than it seems. Being the only male student in the school places him in a unique social position, drawing attention from classmates and staff while also forcing him to adapt to an environment where he constantly stands out. This setup becomes the central driver of the narrative, as the protagonist navigates daily school life, forms friendships, and potentially develops romantic relationships with several of the girls he encounters. The story unfolds through a series of dialogue-heavy scenes typical of the visual novel genre. Players read through conversations, observe character interactions, and occasionally make decisions that influence the direction of the narrative. These choices determine which characters the protagonist spends more time with and ultimately which storyline unfolds. While the gameplay itself is simple—primarily consisting of reading text and selecting dialogue options—the branching structure encourages replayability. Different choices lead to different character routes, each offering unique scenes and endings that reveal more about the personalities and backgrounds of the potential love interests. The cast of characters plays a major role in carrying the experience. Several female students serve as romantic options, each embodying different personality archetypes commonly seen in anime-style romance stories. Some characters present themselves as confident and outgoing, while others are shy, reserved, or playful. As players interact with them, small story arcs begin to unfold that highlight their personal insecurities, ambitions, and emotional growth. Although the characters follow familiar dating-sim tropes, their interactions with the protagonist create moments of humor, awkwardness, and occasional heartfelt connection that keep the narrative engaging. One of the key strengths of the game lies in its relaxed and accessible structure. Highschool Romance does not attempt to overwhelm players with complicated mechanics or long gameplay sessions. Instead, it focuses on delivering a short narrative experience that can be completed in a single sitting, with additional endings available through replaying the story and making different choices. This makes it particularly approachable for newcomers to visual novels who may want to try a dating sim without committing to a lengthy or complex story. Visually, the game uses a colorful anime-inspired art style that fits the romantic comedy tone of the narrative. Character sprites are expressive enough to convey emotions during conversations, helping players understand the mood of each scene. Backgrounds depict typical school environments such as classrooms, hallways, and outdoor campus areas, creating a familiar setting that supports the slice-of-life storytelling. While the artwork is relatively simple compared to high-budget visual novels, it still serves its purpose by bringing the characters and environment to life. The audio design is fairly minimal but appropriate for the game’s scale. Background music consists of soft, looping tracks that help establish a calm atmosphere during conversations and romantic moments. The music rarely draws attention to itself but helps maintain the relaxed pacing of the story. Like many smaller visual novels, the game does not include full voice acting, meaning that the dialogue is presented entirely through text accompanied by background music and occasional sound effects. Despite its charming premise, the game’s limited scope may leave some players wanting more depth. Because the story is relatively short, character development can sometimes feel rushed, with certain routes resolving quickly once the player reaches a key romantic decision. The gameplay mechanics are also quite basic, lacking the additional systems or mini-games that some modern dating sims incorporate to add variety. As a result, the experience relies heavily on its dialogue and characters to maintain interest. Additionally, the narrative leans heavily on familiar genre conventions. Many of the situations and character personalities follow recognizable patterns that longtime fans of visual novels may find predictable. However, for players who enjoy classic romantic anime tropes, this familiarity can also be part of the appeal. The game does not attempt to reinvent the genre, instead focusing on delivering a straightforward romantic story with a few branching outcomes. Ultimately, Highschool Romance is a small-scale visual novel that offers a simple and lighthearted dating simulation experience. Its comedic premise, multiple character routes, and accessible gameplay make it easy to pick up and complete, especially for players looking for a short romantic story rather than a lengthy narrative epic. While it lacks the complexity and depth of larger visual novels, it still provides an enjoyable slice-of-life experience centered on friendship, romance, and the awkward situations that arise when someone suddenly becomes the only boy in an all-girls school. For players who enjoy casual visual novels and anime-style romance stories, Highschool Romance delivers a brief but entertaining journey through a high school filled with potential relationships and humorous interactions. It may not leave a lasting impact in terms of storytelling innovation, but it fulfills its role as a relaxed and approachable dating sim that emphasizes character interactions and branching endings.
