I wish I could go back to how things were before I experienced this.. save yourself.
It's a chat game, without other people to chat with. Really can't recommend it on that basis. May revisit later as it has potential and with a bit of promotion could have a larger user base.
The game is still in early access and has some issues. But once you get past the problems the game provides some really fun events and experiences.

Had the opportunity to tour Nefertari's Tomb with a real Egyptologist and it truly demonstrates the great potential of VR as a medium. It felt like actually being at the site on a live tour but one that has zero impact on a fragile archaeological site. Digital preservation is an exciting way to use technology to save historical treasures. To date, this was one of the coolest VR experiences I have had. On the whole, High Fidelity is still rough around the edges as a social VR platform. I admire the open framework that is being created however everything needs to be made more user friendly. That includes the awkward tablet interface, needing to privately host avatars and domains, mediocre IK and the need for better creator tool hooks. While not perfect, the big advantage that VRChat has for creators is Unity. Although there is not yet a way to write C# for VRChat, I would argue that this should not be the only bar a platform should aim for. Rather, robust tools should be available and easy enough to use that anyone can create their own virtual reality. Unity provides a broad base of resources to facilitate this. HiFi needs to find a similar user friendly tool set with a broad support base beyond just a Unity model exporter and limited in-world building tools. I really hope to see more opportunities like the Nefertari Tomb experience in the future. It is these sorts of applications that really maximize the potential of VR.
