Don't bother with this game. You get to a certain point and it has a game breaking bug with no fix. I wish I had known before I started playing, so I didn't waste so much time on it. Thankfully I got this game as part of a huge bundle.
It's not really a HOG, you've got to do little matching puzzles to get yellow and purple points to progress the plot. This would be okay for some people. But also, when you get to the stables, there's a moment where you have to "examine the gramophone", and when you do the game bugs and you can't go any further.
game is broken.. unable to progress, there is no tutorial and no one else is playing, so no one to help me
Lol, ya. It's broken exactly at the "Examine the gramophone". The background goes blue, but everything is still intractable, so the game isn't frozen. Just weird. Not gonna try to troubleshoot it.
This is not really a Hidden Object Game. It's more of a find matching pairs with a storyline. I haven't even completed it all yet, but it's already rather tedious to play level after level just to collect starts to progress in the game. I do have to give them credit for switching up the mini games a little, but after a half an hour it's become a tedious and not very fun game for me. I don't recommend if you are looking for a real Hidden Object Game..
Broken game, you reach a point and can't go further.
its cool
I found a bug: I can't examine the gramophone and so the game cannot go on
Not very good. boring story, and not very good control. So all in all waste of time
As others have reported Hiddenverse is actively broken - you try to do the gramophone task, you get the map overlay and nothing happens. Frankly, I was invested in the story so I was disappointed about not finding out why the world was going to end. Sigh. I also had trouble getting it to run correctly initially, but those problems were solved by setting compatibility mode to Windows 7/8 and setting the launch "/affinity 1"
