It's a cute game where you have to find the cats hiding around. But the controls are very frustrating on PC.
P.D.: ¡Me flipa aplastar calabazas!
Hidden Paws Mystery, developed and published by Manic Hyena, is a gentle and endearing hidden-object adventure that continues the developer’s tradition of cozy exploration and tranquil design. Built upon the same foundation as its predecessor, Hidden Paws, this installment expands the scope and imagination of its world while maintaining the series’ signature warmth and charm. The premise is simple yet appealing—you are a wandering seeker in a strange, dreamlike world filled with tiny islands, each home to adorable hidden cats and their scattered yarn balls. Your task is to find them all, piece by piece, across beautifully handcrafted environments that evoke a sense of wonder and peaceful curiosity. At its core, the game is a love letter to discovery, encouraging players to slow down, observe, and take pleasure in the small details of an artfully constructed universe. The visual presentation is where Hidden Paws Mystery truly shines. Each island feels like a miniature diorama brought to life, with its own theme, color palette, and mood. One area might feature a misty forest with flickering lanterns, while another is set on a sunlit island dotted with windmills or quaint cottages. The art style blends simplicity with elegance—low-poly design enhanced by rich lighting and soft gradients that create a soothing, almost storybook-like atmosphere. Every environment invites curiosity, rewarding players for exploring corners, climbing structures, and rotating the camera to uncover new perspectives. It’s a game that celebrates visual storytelling; even without dialogue or text, each island tells its own quiet story through its arrangement of objects and the playful behavior of its hidden feline inhabitants. The music complements this perfectly—gentle piano melodies and ambient tones blend with the sounds of nature, creating an experience that feels meditative and relaxing from beginning to end. Gameplay in Hidden Paws Mystery is elegantly straightforward. Players navigate each island using a free camera, zooming in to inspect objects and clicking to reveal hidden cats or collect yarn balls. The controls are intuitive, designed to minimize frustration so that the player can focus on exploration rather than mechanical difficulty. The puzzle design, while not challenging in a traditional sense, relies on careful observation. Many of the cats are cleverly concealed behind objects or camouflaged within the environment, requiring players to experiment with perspective and interact with their surroundings. The inclusion of destructible or movable items—such as pots, pumpkins, or doors—adds a touch of interactivity that keeps each level fresh. A simple hint system ensures that even those new to hidden-object games can enjoy the experience without getting stuck. This accessibility makes Hidden Paws Mystery a perfect game for players seeking relaxation or casual entertainment, but it also appeals to completionists who enjoy methodically uncovering every secret. Where the game falters slightly is in its repetition and pacing. The mechanics, while charming, do not evolve significantly over time, meaning that players who prefer constant novelty may find the experience somewhat repetitive after several islands. The structure is linear: once all cats and yarn balls are found on one island, you move on to the next. There is little narrative progression or overarching story to tie the experience together beyond the act of discovery itself. However, the serene atmosphere and sense of accomplishment from completing each level help mitigate this simplicity. It’s not a game designed to challenge or surprise, but rather to provide a steady rhythm of calm exploration and visual delight. The only other notable issue lies in occasional camera clumsiness—at times, precise object selection or rotation can be slightly awkward, particularly when trying to find smaller, well-hidden items—but these are minor inconveniences in an otherwise polished and accessible experience. Despite its simplicity, Hidden Paws Mystery succeeds wonderfully in evoking emotion and joy through discovery. There’s an undeniable charm in watching the final cat reveal itself after a long search, or in noticing small environmental details that speak to the developer’s care and creativity. The game’s title emphasizes “mystery,” and while it isn’t mysterious in a narrative sense, it captures that quiet, childlike curiosity of exploring the unknown. The handcrafted nature of each island gives it a sense of authenticity and intimacy rarely found in larger productions. Every new environment feels like a personal creation meant to be admired and enjoyed at your own pace. It’s the kind of game that asks nothing of the player except to look closely and appreciate the beauty of small things—a sentiment that resonates deeply in an age of constant speed and distraction. Ultimately, Hidden Paws Mystery stands as a delightful piece of interactive relaxation. It doesn’t try to overwhelm with complexity or drama; instead, it embraces the simple pleasure of searching, finding, and appreciating artful spaces filled with personality. For cat lovers, hidden-object fans, or anyone seeking a gentle break from intense gameplay, it offers a few hours of calm, creativity, and satisfaction. Manic Hyena continues to excel at crafting worlds that soothe rather than stress, and Hidden Paws Mystery is another testament to the idea that games can be both playful and peaceful—a quiet reminder that sometimes the greatest adventures are found not in grand quests, but in the joy of uncovering something small and beautiful. игра очень чиловая
A short and cute game with amazing graphics. An all around better version of the previous game that was also great.
норм
Cute and relaxing. Camera controls are a bit wonky. Glad there are hints for the yarn. I enjoyed it.
