About
In the dark and mysterious lands of the Middle Ages, this action role-playing game invites players into an epic adventure where the destructive power of magic and the sharp edge of steel collide. Whether you evolve your character as a battle mage or a close-combat warrior, fight your enemies in your own unique style.
The open world, crafted with realistic graphics, is filled with dangers and secrets waiting to be uncovered. In this freely explorable realm, players can gather resources to forge their own armor and gear, shaping the gameplay according to their personal preferences.
A deeply woven storyline is brought to life through cinematic storytelling. The character’s past, the tragedy of their family, and the secrets behind the magic gradually unfold as the game progresses. The choices you make in dialogues affect not only your fate, but the course of the entire world.
With immersive quest chains, a variety of enemy types, and combat mechanics that require diverse strategies, the game emphasizes both action and tactical thinking. Every enemy is a challenge, and every piece of armor is a tale of triumph.
As the wind tousles your hair and your steed gallops forward, you stand at the edge of boundless discovery. In every valley lies a secret, in every path a surprise. This world is for the brave. Ride on—there will be no need to look back when what's ahead is this unforgettable.
There is only silence... and the sound of drops coming from afar. Every step echoes off the stone walls. The darkness of the cave seems to try to swallow you, but you don’t falter. Because behind every darkness, there is a secret. Maybe an ancient spell, maybe a forgotten power... Or perhaps, it’s just a moment to face your fears. Gather your courage. The darkness is here to test you.
This place is not just about stone buildings or markets. In these streets, laughter rises, whispers echo.

Reviews
Not bad for the price tag. The game features voice overs, quests, an open world, a main story, crafting, lootables, etc. Will update review as I discover more in game. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/e1lBjBQqc3k
Sorry no, the game is as rigid as not allowed, here a short list of what u have to do or can't to: - you can't configure your keys - you can't do a quest if it's not selected - you can't do a quest objective if you don't come form the right path (open world ? yes but follow the path ...) - you can't move while changing weapons - you can't aim or hold you shot with the bow - you get help window, on certain zones, pop up and block you, forcing you to close them to do the slightest action - you absolutely have to lock your target or you char while randomly swing in any direction, no matter where you look - screen is shaking when your bow does critical range damage/freeezing enemies and it's causing headhache - enemies retrating from fight (no reason why) are still falling on their asses if you shoot them in the back - Shoot animal, they dont fight back and gives you xp, and stop running away after 10 sec you first hit them, they'r too kind :) ... and other many bugs and problems making the experience not fun... Shame because this looks like promising and interresting, animation are good even it's sometimes weirdly chained (ex : the jump is weird), world desing is looking good but not too dark as it's sad in description. Combats are rigid and not really fun too.
Beceremiyorsanız yapmayın be kardeşim gerçekten.
Hidden Heir is the kind of indie action-RPG that immediately communicates ambition. Developed and published by AYS CODE YAZILIM, it presents a dark medieval world where a forgotten lineage resurfaces, placing the player in the role of a protagonist whose ancestry carries consequences far beyond personal identity. Rather than easing you in with lengthy exposition, the game drops you into a land scarred by conflict, shifting political loyalties, and lurking supernatural forces, letting curiosity guide you toward understanding your place within it. The premise itself isn’t revolutionary, but the sincerity behind it is evident, and it provides a strong emotional and thematic backbone for the adventuring, crafting, and combat systems to build upon. Once you begin exploring, it becomes clear that Hidden Heir is structured around player freedom. The world is open to roam, encouraging you to leave the beaten path, search through forests and ruins, enter caves, and interact with scattered settlements rather than march straight toward the main storyline. The environment’s scale is more intimate than sweeping, but that compactness helps it feel approachable rather than overwhelming. Resources lie tucked into wilderness pockets, enemy patrols stalk roads, and hidden corners contain useful loot or quiet bits of world-building. It’s a world that rewards players who slow down, observe, and experiment instead of sprinting from objective to objective. Combat makes up a significant portion of the game’s identity, and Hidden Heir gives players flexibility in how they want to engage. Some will favor traditional melee—swords, shields, heavy armor, deliberate strikes—while others may lean into spellcasting, using distance and elemental attacks to survive. Enemy encounters require attention rather than button-mashing, particularly early on when gear is limited and every health potion matters. While combat animations and hit detection are functional rather than cinematic, there is satisfaction in learning enemy rhythms, circling for an opening, and gradually crafting a build that reflects personal preference. The progression system encourages experimentation, letting you tailor your combat style rather than locking you into narrow archetypes. Crafting, gathering, and equipment management are woven deeply into that progression. Hidden Heir treats armor not as a static upgrade ladder but as a reflection of the player’s investments. Forging or improving gear feels consequential because it requires effort—harvesting metal, collecting hides, scavenging components, or bringing materials to smithing stations. Better equipment meaningfully improves survivability and combat capability, reinforcing the idea that your character grows through perseverance rather than scripted milestones. It’s a grounded approach that fits the setting well, tying power to labor instead of arbitrary leveling. Visually, the game leans into realism—darkened skyboxes, rugged landscapes, crumbling stone structures, flickering torches, and subdued color palettes that convey a world past its prime. Lighting does a lot of heavy lifting, especially during exploration or tense dungeon moments. Character models and environmental assets may not match the detail of larger-budget RPGs, but the atmosphere feels coherent, and the design choices support the game’s somber tone. Sound design follows a similar philosophy: functional, understated, effective when it needs to be. The audiovisual presentation never tries to overshadow gameplay, but it succeeds in grounding you emotionally in the setting. Because Hidden Heir aims high with a small team, some rough edges are inevitable. Performance and polish vary—occasional bugs, inconsistent enemy AI behavior, abrupt animation transitions, and UI quirks may interrupt the experience. The open world, while enjoyable to explore, can feel sparse in areas where there are fewer quest hooks or environmental storytelling elements. Dialogue and narrative delivery sometimes struggle to match the intrigue of the game’s premise, and not all characters or story beats receive the development they deserve. These imperfections don’t break the game, but they serve as reminders of its indie constraints. Still, there is something compelling about Hidden Heir precisely because of that ambition. It asks players to meet it halfway, to appreciate the foundation rather than judge it against massive, resource-heavy RPGs. For players who enjoy discovering smaller, rough-around-the-edges open-world experiences—games where craftsmanship, effort, and potential are more important than polish—the appeal becomes clear. It is a project built with earnest creative intent, not market trends, and that sincerity shows in its systems, its world, and its quiet confidence. Hidden Heir ultimately succeeds as an exploration-driven action-RPG that invites players to carve out their own role in a troubled land. It offers freedom, experimentation, and a solid gameplay loop built on combat, crafting, and discovery. It may not be the most refined or expansive fantasy adventure available, but it delivers a satisfying sense of progression and agency, especially for those willing to overlook imperfections and appreciate what a small team has achieved. With continued updates, feedback-driven improvements, and community interest, it could evolve into something even stronger—but even now, it remains a worthy journey for players who enjoy indie fantasy worlds filled with mystery, challenge, and quiet promise. Rating: 7/10
