About
Hidden Clause is a Windows standalone interactive narrative game.
It is not a traditional stat-growth or combat game. It is an interface-driven story about consent, record keeping, permissions, and displaced responsibility. Across eleven chapters, you move through a candidate zone, simulated camera permission, a sending workflow, a nursery-rhyme player, a room without rules, a permission countdown, a white dot on the ground, an overview system, memory calibration, an asset room, and a final gaze.
You sign, refuse, wait, look away, click, type, and stay silent. The game treats those actions as narrative material, revealing the clauses hidden behind prompts, buttons, white-text warnings, and backend-like archives.
Launch version includes:
- Eleven chapters of interactive narrative content.
- Standalone Windows window; no browser required.
- Original BGM, short sound effects, and a WebGL final-chapter sequence.
- Interface-based interactions built around prompts, files, simulated permissions, archives, and gaze feedback.
- External links open in the system browser and do not take over the game window.
Safety boundary:
All camera, system permission, contacts, sending, backend log, and war-observation screens are in-game simulations. The game does not access a real camera, does not read real contacts or private data, does not connect to real external systems, and does not perform real sending actions.
