Been waiting for this game a couple years now. It plays a lot like old school outwitters... if you know you know
After 14 hrs of play time, here is the updated review: Pros: - Good game play, campaign is addictive and challenging - Campaign's play time is like 10 to 20 hours if you want to complete the hard difficultly, worth the price IMO - Art style is as good as always, the One Man Left style, like it - The tempo is fast and length is just right, length for a game is around 10 to 20 minutes - Running nicely on Steam Deck, but need a bit of tweak for control so you can utilize the trackpad Cons: - So far, I can't find any online quick match - The control design is very easy to miss send the move commend, even after my 14 hrs of game play, I still keep moving the minis that I don't want it to move - Keys can't be re-assign, but the default keys for keyboard isn't so great - Not fully supports mixed input for KB/M and controllers, so for Steam Deck, it'll be awkward trying to use the right trackpad as mouse (I uploaded a full KB/M config for Steam Deck so people can use the right trackpad as mouse, welcome to try it) Wish: - Definitely expect the ability of save and watch replays in the future. Outwitter did a really good job of it - If the players count isn't high enough, I hope there will be daily basis online match like Outwitter or Chess.com, so we can play games with real people without the need for been online at the same time -- Glad to see this game is finally out, I will always support games from your studio even your member changed during past years. I start following you guys from the release of Tilt to Live 1 =) Hope this game will gain its population.
Campaign is fun so far, and I'm enjoying the multiplayer with a friend. Really scratches the Outwitters itch. We will pay for a mobile version 🙏 Issues/Suggestions as of 3/7/24 - Make it easier to deselect a minion to reduce accidental commands (undo button helps thankfully) - Multiplayer matches end in a weird/buggy way (killing all the opponent's minions, but having to walk back to their totem?) - Increase turn time limit and allow for infinite (helpful for friends playing and learning game together) - Make it faster/easier to do rematches with friends (maybe by matchmaking from friend's username - this is how it's done in Antihero for example)

Having a great time!!! Just needs a leaderboard.
Delicious and puzzly skirmish combat!
Highly recommend to get that quick fix if you love tactics style games like FF, BG3, or Mario + Rabbids. I bought it on Nintendo Switch too so I can play with my sons! (I am playing on Steamdeck OLED with no issues.) I love the animation (unreal engine is so smooth!) and characters - all unique and fun to experiment with. As a Souls-fan, I also appreciate that the main game isn't handing you wins but leaves you experimenting with strategies. I look forward to more world building from this team.
Awesome fun, especially if you like strategy and turn based tactics games. Particularly if you previously played Outwitters, by the same developer. I wish it were easier to play with other people online though.
It's a good game. The turn based combat is pretty intuitive, and feels pretty challenging overall. You have different units with different attacks and capabilities, and 2 ways to earn Victory Points to push you to victory each level. The story is also whimsical and nicely paced. Graphically the game looks really good, and definitely fits an almost tabletop board game experience. I found the combat to be harder than expected, even on easy, but mostly because I tend to want to use a very specific strategy each time. Due to how each level seems to toss new units for you to figure out, it means you'll likely be adapting your playstyle each level. It certainly keeps the game feeling fresh, but it does make it slightly difficult to stay on top of.
