I really enjoyed the game! The atmosphere was great. But I NEED to know: what happened to Michael?! Is he actually alive? And why is he drinking in a trash can?! 😭😂 I’ll be waiting for the next episodes! ❤️
HERROR: Gas Station Case is a well-balanced horror game that understands how to build tension without relying on nonstop jumpscares. The creepy “Who can you trust?” factor kept me questioning everyone and paying attention to everything happening around me. The developers let the atmosphere and uncertainty do the work. You always feel like something is wrong, but the game doesn’t immediately reveal what—or who—you should be afraid of. That slow buildup makes the scary moments hit harder. If you enjoy horror games that create real tension and paranoia instead of throwing cheap jumpscares at you every few minutes, this one is absolutely worth buying.
The look of this game is gorgeous! Jumpscares are very well timed, best believe they had me jumping out of my skin a few times, what I do really like is the small funny details! I enjoyed this game and the concept. My full gameplay if you lot would like!: https://youtu.be/g9_Ksis5yEE?si=LkmVrjaC_3fFThWW

10/10.
It's a bit difficult for me to judge this game too harshly knowing that it was made by a single developer. For a one-person project, I think it's a perfectly decent little horror game, and I can definitely appreciate the effort that went into making it. That being said, there's nothing particularly remarkable about it. A lot of the models and assets seem to come from pre-made asset packs, so visually the game doesn't really have much of an identity of its own. The story is fairly simple and, unfortunately, very predictable. I could see most of the major developments coming well before they happened, and despite being a horror game, I rarely found it genuinely scary. Surprisingly, though, some parts were actually pretty funny, whether intentionally or not, and I did enjoy those moments. The game is also short enough that it never really overstays its welcome. It took me roughly two hours to finish it and clean up all the achievements, and for those two hours, I had a reasonably good time. So, is it an amazing horror game? No. Is it particularly memorable? Probably not. But considering this is the work of a single developer, I think it's a respectable effort. It's a short, simple experience with some amusing moments, and I don't regret playing it. If you're looking for a small indie horror game to kill an evening and you keep your expectations reasonable, you might have some fun with it.
