12/6- Edit Piece of crap game, now with dollar dlc. Just give up. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This game.. Where the hell do I begin. No music, bare bones, the tutorial is so dry It makes a skeleton look fatter. In short, this is greek yu-gi-oh, I kid you not this is the main battle board on how you play Is even FROM the game. This might be a on sight kill view but as soon as you try to play this game you're going to look at steam and be like "What the hell did you spit on my hard drive?" Oh yeah, you'll also find out the game crashes 80% of the time on launch, good luck playing it too! How many hours have you actually worked on this? I get it, games have bugs, they have bad content but this? Jesus christ I don't even know where to pick it up. 1/10. Play any other card game on steam that actually has music and actually has depth to it.
This is litterally just YGOPro, just chinese bootlegged to hell. The cards are also riddled with typo's, my personal favorite is the "Raw Boat". Someone cook it! Wake me up when a Yu-Gi-Oh Content Restoration mod is released for the workshop

Hoo boy, this one is a doozy. Heroes of Civilizations is a Yu-Gi-Oh based game where you must place both unit and special effect cards down in order to defeat your opponent before they defeat you. The problem with this game is that not only that it looks completely bare bones, the cards look like they were ripped from Wikipedia and have incredibly uninteresting names, like the "Snake Virus" card. Snake Virus? Seriously? You are only given 30 cards to start with, unlike Yu-Gi-Oh's doubled amount of 60 cards in a deck, so you are going to run out of cards very quickly, that is, if you even get to that point, because 'games' will usually only last one or two turns. The tutorial is quite broken, if you somehow are unable to beat your opponent on the first turn, the game decides to somehow give you control of your 'opponent', which makes no sense why that is even a option. The campaign is utter nonsense, you pretty much NEED a first turn winning deck to win or you will instantly lose the match, which makes no sense whatsoever. Same goes with Skirmishes, except this time, you only get a very small amount of cards to draw at the start! Don't even bother trying to play multiplayer either, it requires a server IP as well as a password, so unless you know both of them from someone, you'll expect no matches to play, like anyone would want to play this anyways. The replays don't work, they only show the first turn from each side, then they just end, that's it, no full game, just one turn from each side. The settings, I mean the configuration, are the absolute worst settings I've seen in a game, only having options to change the language, change the rendering from OpenGL to Direct3D, changing 'skin' settings, a ADVANCED graphics option that doesn't change any graphical settings at all, and a enable mods settings, which obviously this game does not have. No sound options (which the game has little to none, by the way), no resolution settings, nothing. Oh, I forgot to mention that this game LOVES to crash instantly on startup about 75% of the time, with the most generic name : "CardGame.exe has stopped working." Do yourself a favor, don't download this. Go play any other Free to Play game out there. It would have much better effort put into their game rather than this game.
lets start with basics game crashes multiple times and it takes multiple atempts to open it and when you do.. it midiatly pots you in main menu and game makes 1 split second sound to show you that there is supose to be music playing but its not now there are few options: -in singleplayer you have few selections - tutorial witch is terible desinged its like mod for 2 players on same pc. if you dont kill the enemy in 1 turn than you play as him -campaign: in what u play certan scenarios and if you dont kill the enemy in 1 turn you lose -skirmish: are basicly same thing as campaign just with few card in your deck and by few i mean 1 -10 -custom: same thing as both campaign and skirmish and whats so custom about it? only diference is that levels dont have certan name and u cannot customise anything -multiplayer mode: i didnt try out because there was no players hosting any rooms deck edit i dont have anything to say there -watch replay: now i dont understand is the game autorecording multiplayer games or? because there was only 1 video called "_LastReplay. rep" and in that replay u can see 1 turn from each side and than replay ends configuration (options): is worst i ever seen. there's browser games with more options than this. there is language, render, skin, enable mods buton and advanced graphics witch doesent change a single thing. no sound options, no resolution no nothing this isnt a game this is a joke and you shouldnt waste your time even reading this title or review sory for my bad eng grammar
It is a really bad Game, I don't know how Steam approves this kind of games to be released, also it is a copy of a legal game Yugi-Oh the board game, sounds, everything was copied from it. DON'T Download this game!!! See all the bad reviews it has. Don't WASTE your precious time!
Launched on 4th try 10/10 Game reminds me of yu-gi-oh. And I hate that game. Spent more time trying to launch then playing this poor excuse of a game. I thought that games were supposed to at least be playable before release? I guess not. Seriously though, whoever greenlighted this game must've been shown something else because not even someone who's high would've chosen this game. *ACTUAL GAMEPLAY STUFF* The turn system was exactly the same as yu-gi-oh. The attack system kind of reminded me of Magic: the Gathering (except the fact that when something is attacked it gets really confusing). Not sure if I was ever able to draw a card the entire time. I think there's something called a special zone or something, in which you can play cards from (I'm not sure if this is supposed to be the deck or if it's something else). The gameplay was so bad it's comparable to World War 2: Time of Wrath************* Don't think AI ever attacked me. The campaign scenarios were usually extremely one sided (in the player's favor). Graphics look like it was made 10-20 years ago. (When it was released 8/10/2017 - seriously what the ♥♥♥♥ is up with the graphics - you can just look at the system requirements to get a feel of how bad they are; I think Half Life 2 has higher requirements than this piece of ♥♥♥♥). Pros: Only wastes ~100 MB of storage (before being uninstalled). *********World War 2: Time of Wrath was made 8 years ago, so it has a decent excuse of being bad, this however does not.
Really wanted to see how bad this was based on the reviews. Was hoping that they were wrong. Nope, they were right: low res text diplay and graphics, broken tutorials, bad English, no real explanations- it assumes you play Yu-Gi-Oh. This is the open source version with civ cards. Concept really had potential, and it even had a campaign mode. But everything is too complicated and hard to read and understand. Just seems like a yugioh mod that 3 people play on some forum. I have to scratch my head how Steam allows this game yet other publishers had to wait or go through a quality control process. Will be uninstalling this now.
It's like Yu-Gi-Oh, but broken garbage that has a UI made in Visual Studio, no working progress tracker, pointless Campaign.... if it could even be called that, and crashes A LOT. Did I mention it's like Yu-Gi-Oh though...... They just stripped it straight out of the GBA games, and added a ton of broken mechanics to it. Great stuff really...............................................................................
