Right, let me get this straight. I've sunk over 100 hours into this on iOS - yes, one hundred hours- bought all the expansions on sale like some sort of digital hoarder, and I even play the physical card game because apparently I hate having money. I love it. There, I said it. Now, the free version? That's a demo, innit? It's there so you can work out if you actually like the game before committing. Novel concept, I know. If you enjoy it - and you probably will - you pay for the base game. That's how things work in the real world. But oh no, the internet's full of precious little flowers crying about how it's not completely free. Are you having a laugh? You get to level a character up to level 4 out of 12. You can even downlevel opponents so everyone's playing at level four. It's not pay-to-win; it's pay-to-access-all-the-content. Which is perfectly reasonable unless you think developers should work for exposure and good vibes. You can level your favorite heroes, smash through single-player story campaigns, team up for co-op online battles, or jump into real-time PvP - which is where I spend most of my time, battering strangers with my Wizard and Ranger builds. These have been my mains, though there are other classes if you fancy mixing it up. Here's what makes Hero Realms brilliant: everyone starts with the same 10-card deck. Each turn you buy cards from a shared market using Gold and they go into your discard pile. When your deck runs out, you shuffle everything back in, so your deck evolves as you play. No two games are ever the same, which keeps things fresh and stops you from autopiloting like a zombie. There's proper strategy involved too. Do you buy that card now or wait? Because buying one might reveal something better for your opponent, and suddenly you're the mug who handed them the win. It's chess with fantasy art, basically. The digital version? They've nailed it. Turn timers that don't let people faff about endlessly but give you a bit extra when you're actually doing something - genius. Other online card games should nick this idea immediately. There's a "Play All" button and an "Attack" button because, let's be honest, you're playing your whole hand every turn anyway since unplayed cards get discarded. Smart design, that. They've done a proper job translating this addictive tabletop game into something I can play online instead of having to convince my mates to come over. My only gripes? The menus could be sleeker for getting into matchmaking, and why isn't real-time turns the default? Nobody wants the 48-hour option except people who check their phone twice a week. The developers are grafting away on updates and actually communicate with players. Refreshing, that. Bottom line: I'm having an absolute blast and I recommend Hero Realms without hesitation. Just stop moaning about paying for things and buy the bloody game already.

Wise Wizard games keeps updating this game when people are waiting for so long for them to deliver the kickstarter projects they backed... It is sad because the paper game is really good, but they are screwing everybody right now. Don't give them another cent.
Je préfère y jouer en physique ais très bon jeu de deck building. (Je suis une quiche par contre ...)
Um dos melhores Deckbuilding que ja joguei, problema que a empresa é preguiçosa e nao solta conteudo novo
It's competitive with a story and compact
My old friend Hero Realms Game is great. If its the first time you come across this, you have a TONS of hours ahead to enjoy and really I'd reccommend you go and get a physical copy. If you already went through all those games with friends IRL then this is great since it speeds up the games, animations are cool and also levelling and progressing dynamics are great. The big con about this game is that DLC and expansions are NOT SAVED within steam account so if you change your computer/device where you play you need to purchase them again which makes no sense at all.
Completely sucks, while the game is good it sucks that you can't get past level 4 without having to purchase something else to play the game I think that's garbage complete and utter garbage.
Toporne menu i sposób rozgrywki, ciężko w to w ogóle zagrać. Powinniście uczyć się od Mindbuga, jak adaptować karcianki na PC.
juego de cartas de construccion de mazos super rapido y bien optimizado, con estrategia y progresion
Addictively good. Nice intro into the deck building world.
