Duelyst is a unique hybrid 1v1 card game where you play your units and spells onto a 9x5 board where you can position them to your advantage. You can pick from different generals with unique Bloodbound spells. All 800+ cards are unlocked so you can play anything you want from the start.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.
6.5/10
Firstly, it should be noted that I haven't even managed to access the Steam version of this game. All my evaluations of this game are based on my playing experience on the web version and iOS version. Based on this, you can infer how poor the user experience of this game might be. When Duelyst debuted in early 2015, it generated great anticipation among card game players with its unique and exquisite pixel art style and highly creative gameplay. However, due to poor management and a continuously shrinking player base, it sadly ceased operations in 2020. With the original game developers making the source code of Duelyst public, it provided an opportunity for this distinctive and captivating strategy card game to reappear before players, and Duelyst GG is one of the many cloned sequels. Duelyst GG strives to recreate the original Duelyst gaming experience as faithfully as possible. The authentic game modes, commander skills, and cards undoubtedly serve as a nostalgic haven for old Duelyst players. Moreover, players can access all the cards in the game right from the start, making it a genuinely non-profit clone sequel that prioritizes the players. The cross-platform multiplayer feature also allows you to enjoy Duelyst wherever and whenever you like. Of course, I believe you can imagine the issues that arise with such a non-profit clone sequel. The UI is extremely crude, the game content is far from complete, the optimization is horrendous, the bugs are numerous, and the beginner tutorial mechanism is severely lacking. Additionally, Duelyst GG itself has a small player base, which means you'll either face uninteresting AI battles or seasoned Duelyst veterans. It's hard to imagine how new players can find enjoyment in the game. In summary, I believe Duelyst GG is a clone sequel suitable for veteran Duelyst players. Only if you're already very familiar with Duelyst can you possibly have the best gaming experience, not to mention tolerate the prevalent optimization issues and bugs throughout the game.

Unlike Duelyst 2, this game is actually developed by a guy who cares about the game. Far more balanced and fun.
This is the game if you ACTUALLY want to play duelyst.
The best version of Duelyst, hands down. The dev, Hellgin, is superb. If you want to feel like you are playing Duelyst this is Duelyst to play. The other version is very lacking. The only downside is queues can be between 1 minute to ~ 7 minutes. But as a fun game to play casually just because you love Duelyst, this is the version to play. Duelyst 2 sucks and is more like Duelyst half.
game is good but I rly don't like that everything is unlocked. No progress and progress make you launch game again and again
great
