Her Place VR

[code]I played this on my Meta Quest 2[/code] “Oh my gosh, I've been searching for this everywhere!” [h3]Introduction[/h3] So, this was a hard one to love, but I really tried and if I could have given it a mixed rating, I definitely would. Her Place is one of the first VR dating sims that doesn't look like complete ass, at least from what I have seen. You are the friendly neighbor coming over to introduce yourself, and after the short introduction she almost immediately puts you to work. The tasks you are set to do are very few at the moment and the large majority of it is just you finding missing clothes and “dance” positions that you can make her wear and do. This is where the game really shows that it is in the very start of its development and is years away from becoming a good VR title. [h3]What I like[/h3] Let me first mention why I would have given this a mixed rating if I could. I really like what the developer is trying to do and I hope we see a lot more of these VR projects in the future. I like the visuals and character design, the girl is good looking and she has a realistic body shape, which often doesn’t happen in these gooner games. The physics are also alright, though a bit basic, but it isn’t really the developer's fault, it is more so because of limitations with our current technology. [h3]What I don’t like[/h3] There is a lot to improve here. Let’s start with the story. It is really barebones atm, not much to really hang onto and the bit of dialogue there is sounds like you are trapped in a really bad erotic movie. The missions are really few and they break a lot. I started over twice just to get the game to register completion of two of the missions I finished. The new mission with the strange noise also seems to be completely broken. Every time I unlocked the door and went into the room, nothing happened. No new dialogue available and nothing you can move or touch in the room. The mission log just says to check the room, but the room is pretty much empty. Now that we are on the topic of the new mission, I will quickly mention the movement issues. Teleport movement is completely broken around and inside of the locked room. I had to use the “smooth movement” in order to get in and around the door to enter her bedroom. Needless to say, I got very dizzy and almost fell over twice irl. Beside that area being a nightmare to navigate, I also fell through the walls and floor of the house a few times with teleport movement and moved through locked doors. Another big issue is the relationship status thing. When you click on the button labeled “alpha” it tells you about these different levels of affection, which sounds like a good system. In the actual game however, it doesn’t seem to be a thing. In my first playthrough I found the naked clothing choices randomly as the first I found, and from that point I could just ask her to undress for me with no hesitation on her part. She also does not give a ♥♥♥♥ if you start feeling her up with your dirty fingers right in front of her house at the very start of the game. So an actual relationship system, where she won’t just undress in front of you and let you put your dirty fingers on her body without any type of reaction, would be really nice. There are also a few smaller issues that I feel like mentioning. One is that the option to adjust height in options doesn’t work, but thankfully you can just manually adjust it on your thumbstick. Achievements also seem to first unlock after restarting your save game. At last, the girl on the store page thumbnail doesn’t match at all with the girl in the actual game, I just found it a bit weird. [h3]What I would like[/h3] There is quite a lot of things I would like to see added to this game, but ill only mention what I actually see as essential features for this game, in order to make it a good VR experience. First, I think this game deserves a much better and more believable story where you can actually learn to know about this girl and one where she feels more like a human than a robot. I would also expect to see more options in terms of interaction and it gradually unlocking for the player. I would actually also prefer more of a challenge. It would have been great if the girl started out not liking you at all and you have to win her over. This would make the game feel more like a game and could add a lot of replay value. A body editor would also be cool, one where we can totally change how we want the girl to look, similar to what other adult VR titles have. [h3]Why I found this game hard to rate[/h3] I have never wanted to give a game a mixed rating more than I have with this one. [list][*]Is it worth 10 euro as it is now? No, definitely not. [*]Will it likely get abandoned? Yes. [*]Do I like the concept and what the developer is doing and is this one of the only games of its kind available at the moment? Yes, and this is one of the reasons I wish I could have given this a better rating. I have a feeling this game hasn’t sold well and VR is a limited market already, so I do fear a bit for this game’s future and that it will become abandonware soon.[/list] I’m sure these kind of games will help destroy us in a decade or two, but the technology unfortunately just isn’t quite there yet. I will only recommend this to VR players with a deeper pocket who want to support the developer and can survive paying 10 bucks for an hour worth of broken gameplay. Needs more time in the oven. Pretty much the entire game is just you searching a house for Easter Eggs that contain either an outfit or an animation. It's in early access but right now, this is just a broken mess of a game. Graphically, it looks pretty good. Animations are fine. The voice acting is above average and the main character looks cute. That's about all of the good that I can say about this one. The interface is overly complicated. The game is borderline broken. I choose "Smooth" movement and it still reverts back to teleportation without warning. I got into the pool to retrieve one of the easter eggs and couldn't get out. There are certain outfits that she just won't wear when you ask her to and there are only a handful of outfits, at that. I'm going to hang on to it because it has potential but your money is better spent elsewhere. *Edit: So it's getting better. Slowly but surely. I'm gonna give it a recommendation for now.

1)Оптимизация хромает. Версия игры на 17.08.25. Видюха rtx 5060 ti, игра плохо работает на высоких настройках (пришлось убавить). 2) Кекса в игре нет (но по факту должен быть). У нас есть 4 уровня (с каждым доступно больше действий с девушкой). Так вот внутри игры есть описание что на 4 уровне кекс вроде есть но взять его мы не можем. Т.к по достижению 3 уровня дальше прогресс не идет. 3) Почему положительный отзыв? У игры большой потенциал и видно что игра не завершена. Разработчик регулярно выпускает патчи и занимается игрой. Желаю ему удачи и думаю что из этого получится хорошая игра, если её не забросят.

Пока что игра вызывает много сомнений. Картинка в ней очень красивая, сама София тоже очень красивая, довольно скорпулезно прорисованная девушка, но уровень взаимодействия с ней очень низкий: поговорить можно только о задании, можно ее трогать, гладить , но реакции при этом от нее нету никакой, сами задания достаточно глуповаты (в стиле: я тут одежду свою дома потеряла и без тебя ее точно никак не найду). Главная проблема игры, на мой взгляд - большое количество глюков: уровень отношений с девушкой должен раскрывать новые возможности взаимодействия (переодеть ее в более откровенный наряд, или вообще ее раздеть, попросить станцевать пошлый танец), но у меня, почему-то все эти функции работали с самого начала игры; некоторый из открытых костюмов не работают в принципе, и главные глюки - с заданиями: находишь предмет, зовешь Софию а она не реагирует на то, что ты нашел. В первом задании помогало перекладывание предмета с одной руки в другую и взаимодействие с ней, но вот в миссии с поиском лошади даже это не сработало: она просто не засчитывает миссию. И тут,вроде как, игра в раннем доступе, можно бы отнестись снисходительно, но обновления выходят крайне редко и глюки, стопорящие прохождение сильно все портят. Да и хотелось бы, чтобы добавили какой-то импакт от Софии: чтобы ругалась, когда ее лапаешь, или возбужденно стонала на высоком уровне близости. Очень надеюсь, что разрабы не забросят игру и доведут ее до ума

Merci aux developeurs pour ce jeux soigné. Sofia est très attachante ! les graphismes sont beaux et il y'a le soucis du détail continuez d'améliorer ce jeux avec des mises a jours, avec plus d'interactions de tenues et activités. je recommande :)

I'm neutral at the moment on whether or not to recommend this game. There is certainly potential here and the dev is releasing regular update to address issues. Let's start off with the positives: * The graphics are reasonably well done and it runs reasonably well on my system (AMD 7950X3D/AMD RX6950XT/Quest Pro). * The menus and command system work well * The treasure hunt portion of the game to unlock outfits and animations is also interesting(bonus points for providing a cheat mode to skip it) * The voice acting, while limited, is tolerable. A bit flat, but understandable. * There is a good variety of poses/animations you can have her perform. Areas needing improvement: * The "game" needs some actual game-play to it beyond the treasure hunt. Otherwise it's just a rag-doll clone of a hundred other "games". * Story line/interaction with Sophia doesn't make any sense. You supposedly just met her, but she's already willing to get completely naked for you right from the start. * No responses from Sophia when you try to touch her. Unless you're in photo mode, you can only interact with a couple of body parts. * No idea how photo mode is supposed to work, you can get her to pose and put her in any position you want. But there is no indication on how to take a photo. * Some of the more explicit animations don't make any sense without her having a partner (e.g. Cowgirl straddling empty air) My recommendation is to wait and see how the game progresses through early access.
