Her Heart's Desire : A Landlord Epic is an adult visual novel about a 34 year old book writer who recently moved into a new house and decided to offer rooms to three tenants because he needed help paying his mortgage. You can customize all characters' names or leave the default names. A gallery with scenes is available only during the game in the settings, where there will be a tab for all scenes, and it will also show which scenes you have yet to unlock. The game visuals are all fine, with decent models and animation, although some characters look quite similar to each other. Initially, I thought there would be interactions with only the three tenants, but there are also different characters. The game has different endings, and your choices will affect the outcome. It also features nice music. The game itself is not too short (~8hours), but it lacks plot depth. On one hand, it seemed to me that the interactions with the girls were too fast. On the other hand, the main character is a book writer with a couple of successful works, in good shape, living in a nice house, driving a nice car, and his default name is Chad. I picked this up expecting a fairly standard adult VN, but it ended up being a pleasant surprise. The story does a good job of balancing the romance, humour and everyday landlord antics, and I found myself getting invested in the characters instead of just clicking through to the next scene. The cast is fun, the dialogue flows well, and there are plenty of wholesome moments alongside the more intimate ones. The adult scenes are definitely one of the highlights. There are plenty of them, they're well rendered, the animations are a bit jerky but the dialogue during the scenes makes up for it and keeps them hot, and they fit naturally into the progression of the relationships rather than feeling forced. That's always a big plus for me. The game isn't trying to reinvent the genre, but it delivers a solid experience with good writing, attractive visuals, and satisfying progression. If you enjoy story-driven adult visual novels where the characters come first and the NSFW content complements the story, this is well worth picking up. Recommended.

Currently this is mostly a '' review '' to help the developer. I will probably write a real review at some point with some useful information eventually, especially after the player climaxes get fixed/added as it were. I do recommend this game though, so i'll end with at least some information, if you like anal sex, and being able to actually *see* the anal penetration, you should try it out. ( there is actual sex as well, not just anal ) There are a little over 20 sex scenes I think, counting vaginal or anal as such. It is not a forced pullout game, with maybe 3 exceptions. Player climaxes are currently more or less skipped or auto skipped forward ( not an event you can stay on ), but this is likely to change. You can customize your name! And this developer is very open to feedback, works with passion and talent *and* effort. I very much recommend trying this developers games out.

I am appreciative of the effort put forth in this AVN. I had never encountered a landlord and harem style game that really caught my eye as this one did. Thank you. I hope updates continue, mostly in dialog redundancies I happily recommend this product to others. It has an interesting premise, full of promise. The only two things I would have changed were dialog redundancies and the length of the supporting sound effects. Otherwise, I was enthusiastic about play.

(Actually, you can define what they are to you and each other, while also naming them and yourself.) You soon find out they are very interested in having fun with you. Just... be careful. If you are not fun enough for them (such as focusing on one of the girls to the exclusion of the others), you may get your house burned down... Decent enough. Though, waiting for a discount is not a bad idea.

Lo único malo de este juego es que no da opción a personalizar los nombres. También se debería cuidar más la traducción, no se como sera con otros idiomas, pero el Español de España parece traducido con google translate de mala manera.

I really liked this one. Not the deepest story, but plenty of good h-scenes. I wish the choice matter games would give you all the endings, I never replay a whole game.
