Heaven & Hell 2 – очередная акрада 3 в ряд с сомнительным визуальным оформлением и занудным саундтреком. Мусор.
Heaven & Hell 2 is what looks a lot like a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs trying to cash in on abandoned app store stuff. HH-Games has one business, and that business is taking old, abandoned shovelware mobile apps, all made from filling out/reskinning a basic game template (in this case a shallow Match-3), and pushing the garbage on Steam years after it died on mobile, to scam some money out of PC gamers. They do this through shovelware game bundles, because nobody is actually going to pay the extortionate price for this garbage up-front. So, with that in mind, this is a godawfully bad shovelware Match-3 mobile app with an "angels and demons" skin veneer stapled onto it lazily. From a technical perspective, as a mobile app, this doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The mobile app only displays in 4:3 pillarboxed aspect ratio. It's possible they developed this using an old CRT they found in a dumpster, or this mobile app has been specifically designed for people gaming on PC's from 1995... either way, this isn't really acceptable in the modern era of PC gaming. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The mobile app features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone. These technical defects push this mobile app below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this mobile app is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 110,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality mobile app is to be expected. So, should you buy this mobile app? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ games on Steam? Heaven & Hell 2 has the pathetically optimistic price of around $8 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam. For comparison, the $8 asking price for this mobile app could get you games like "7 Days to Die", "Mass Effect Trilogy Pack" or "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this mobile app as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the mobile app (to date). Until this status changes, this mobile app will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this mobile app.
Match 3 Game Simpel. Mit Zugbeschränkung. Imho schlechte Farbwahl. Es ist echt schwierig zu erkennen welche Blöcke noch abzuarbeiten sind.
Here's a Totally Objective Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GpCFBivAog (10/10)
In this video I take a look at Heaven & Hell 2 a match three from HH-Games. A fun little match three about a mischievous little devil. The match three game play is centered around destroying tiles by making one or more matches over them. Unfortunately I found the music and sound effects in this title very annoying but you can easily turn off the music in the settings so you can listen to your own and have the sound effects at a low volume. The game play it's self is very good match three and the game is very cheap so I'll still recommend the title.
