Experience this new take on reactor and factory idle style game! More heat management, more building, more explosions! Hope you have fun!

About
From the creator of reactor idle, factory idle and city idle!
Your mission is simple: HEAT UP THE PLANET, Yes, really.
You’ll start with clean technologies like solar panels that barely produce any heat, but soon begin to research less clean methods to produce even more heat. Who knows—you might
actually succeed in overheating the planet.
Managing excessive heat, however, is not an easy task. Be prepared for challenges and, yes, explosions. MANY EXPLOSIONS. In your defense, explosions also help heat up the planet. Explosions cause financial losses and can bankrupt you though...
This game introduces new features gradually. At first, you’ll see only the basics to help you get started, but as you progress, more advanced technologies and mechanics will
unlock. It is a long journey with plenty to explore.
Disclaimer: This game is HARD.
It is also a form of a puzzle game, requiring you to figure out efficient strategies to improve your setup and boost your income.
Keep in mind that perfection isn’t the goal—you’ll need to focus on specific areas and make trade-offs.
Are you ready for the challenge?

Generally When i Make these types of Reviews I would go into great depth to talk about it but i just wanted to make this short as possible. If you want my Honest Truth on this game it's truly not perfect Although it is completely playable and it's free. (IMPORTANT NOTICE) There is NO DLC in this game. There is also NO HIDDEN DLC in this game. This game also has 0 Competition Features. The game is the game. This is a good improvement over the online version of this game.
Gameplay seems OK, It's hard to estimate how good is because A) I love reactor incremental games and am likely to have to give a game more praise than due simply because of positive bias I have for the game type and B) I don't have much playtime at all due to the main reason I can't recommend the game. The problem with the game is that there is no way to change the UI size. The bigger your resolution, the smaller the UI seems. It's a pain reading anything on the menus as a result. You may be able to make it more readable by lowering your resolution, but the game has no display options, so you'd have to change the resolution of your monitor every time you play. As of right now, the (mostly dead) discussion forum contains one request to add a UI size option from a year ago with no reply. The general lack of activity in the discussions section leads me to believe I'm not missing much by not playing it, Given that the game still has no UI size option, I doubt the developer pays attention to the discussion section and will probably not be adding the option in the future. To be fair, it's a free game, so it's not like the dev is actually getting paid to work on the game, I just can't recommend it because it seems like a waste of time to put up with the frustration over the UI size just for a mediocre entry in the reactor incremental genre. I'd rather have paid for the game and been allowed the ability to increase the UI size than not pay for it, but have to put up with the small UI.
It plays like a combination of previous games reactor idle and factory idle, both unique puzzle like games in the idle genre
Fun for a few days then it bottlenecks. Worth the free price. I went ahead and paid the 4 bucks for a 'bank' in game bc I liked it.
Heat incremental is a surprisingly clever idle strategy game because it gives me one of the strangest goals I have seen in this genre. Instead of trying to save the planet, I am actively trying to heat it up as much as possible while also keeping my entire operation from falling apart. I liked that absurd premise because it gives the usual factory and idle systems a much more playful identity. The main gameplay revolves around building technologies that generate heat and income, then constantly adjusting my setup to keep everything working efficiently. I start with cleaner methods that produce relatively little heat, but eventually unlock more extreme technologies. I enjoyed the process of gradually expanding my system because every improvement creates another problem that I have to solve. The heat management is what makes the game more interesting than a simple incremental experience. I cannot just keep adding production forever without consequences. Machines can become unstable, explosions can happen and financial losses can quickly put me in a difficult position. I liked that tradeoff because I am always balancing short term gains against the risk of ruining the setup I have worked toward. The puzzle element also works surprisingly well. I found myself thinking about where to place structures and which technologies were actually worth developing rather than simply buying whatever became available. The game gradually reveals more advanced mechanics as I progress, which gives the experience a nice sense of discovery. It feels like I am learning how the system works instead of being handed every option immediately. My biggest issue is the difficulty. Heat incremental is not really a relaxing idle game where I can leave everything running without thinking. The optimization can become demanding, and mistakes can cost me enough progress to make certain sections feel frustrating. The interface is also fairly functional rather than especially polished, so understanding the most efficient setup can take some patience. I still enjoyed the way the game encourages experimentation. There is no single perfect setup that I can blindly follow, because different situations reward different priorities. That makes each improvement feel earned, especially when I finally figure out how to increase production without creating another disaster. Overall, Heat incremental is a clever little strategy idle game with a ridiculous premise and a genuinely interesting management loop. I liked the combination of production, heat control, explosions and economic risk, and the puzzle element gives the incremental formula more depth than I expected. It can be frustratingly difficult, but I enjoyed the challenge and the strange goal behind it. Rating: 6.6/10
