I'm not a big fan of roguelikes, but I was still able to enjoy the game. I like the concept, but I would love more options to reduce the randomness of the roguelike aspect. Could use a little polish, but overall I enjoy the game. Lots of creative healing spells and good enough variety for companions.
It looks like a game you would get on a demo disk in 2003 and I love it. The gameplay and mechanics are the tight, the only downside is that sometimes the positioning of your partymembers gets overwhelming and annoying. Also, once you unlock all healing spells you definitely need more banishes. 15 is a little steep, but at 10 I'd say buy it in a heartbeat.
The game is amateur, ugly, and janky, but I still like it. I appreciate a game that's so niche you can tell right away if it was made for you or not. I have a lot of nostalgia for early 2000s MMOs, and this scratches an itch no other game can scratch. That being said, for the amount of content here, and the frankly low quality of the game, 15$ is too much.
Good game. Wish it wasn't abandoned and polished a lot more. Due to that I'd recommend getting it on sale.
It definitely has its flaws, some skill effects don't work as intended, (like as of writing this - Nurture's effect "20% chance to copy a HoT effect" - copies the Tank's taunt, which, as the healer is NOT what you want), but the game is nice to idle in on occasion
Damn. 7 hours straight. Healer/support main in almost all games I play is the reason I guess. And I love the pain of healing randos in raids/dungeons I will leave a positive review as a fun replication of a dungeon run from a healer perspective. Mainly just for the skills and not so much the team mates as your "companions" don't have much intuitive AI design to them other than rotations and combat. They are dead weight for mechanics and you have to drag them around. And I mean drag them ALL and not just certain members who may be standing in death. I am sure another game, HOPEFULLY THIS GAME, creates a more immersive experience with your companions so they have some semblance of cooperation. Even though this game is basically a satire on the experience a healer goes through with pugs and randos so it would be fun to have a "pinging" system that basically alerts them from an area instead of needing to literally drag the full team at once. I understood what this game was going for, and I did for a hot bit say "I could see this happening in x game". It was fun to see a dev relate and literally make a game about their pov as possibly teaching those DPS a lesson. I look forward to more from this take.
The game is fun. It has elements of MMO healing, dungeon crawling and the rouge-lite element adds an extra layer of never knowing exactly what your optimal healing rotation is going to be. Unfortunately, the game crashes constantly. Loading screens are the worst, but sometimes you are just walking down a hallway and boom, run over. It ranges from the game closing suddenly to fully shutting down my machine. It took me 4 attempts to clear the tutorial - and not because I died. It seems to be worse with the damage meter enabled. I am running a brandnew RTX 9070XT and AMD 9700X. I don't know if it's just an issue with newer hardware because my friend that plays on an older PC doesn't have issues. Either way, I cannot recommend a game that I cannot play.
I wanted an MMO, group play, type of healing experience and this hits the nail on the head perfectly. The healing spells are all fun and here's plenty of them to change the way you play. Each run is different as well depending on what healer, tank, and DPS you choose for your group. I was disappointed there was no way to "main" a healer and keep your spells/gear, it can be jarring going from run to run and having your skills and keybinds change up everytime, but I suppose that's just a part of the rogue-like element. Regardless this is really challenging, engaging, and fun. Will definitely be playing a lot more of it
Honestly a pretty fun game. Nostalgic vibes of 90s mmos like EQ mixed with playing a Mastermind from City of Heroes or even Dungeon Siege-lite. If you don't mind a bit of rustic indie charm this is a fun roguelike with a fairly unique spin. Not an ocean of variety with customization for vets of this genre, but whats there offers some fun strats and variety with your chosen healer/party to play with in fairly uniquely different ways.
