OMG, I'll try and win later but.. why did you pee in my pants? P.S. are you reading a review right now? The game would have been downloaded, open, and you be playing it by now. Just try it >=D
This game was really good and i couldnt help but play it and make a video about it. It you want to see more of what it is about then check my video down below. https://youtu.be/qrj7MH0FFTM?si=RCeOYyrM1JUEiriX
Honestly pretty fun, the direction of the game was kinda confusing but that mightve been done on purpose. The voice acting was pretty good and the style is amazing. I love the end credit scene and the music is all perfect for the game. Also, the title screen is fire af. Creature design is really interesting and i love a cool looking monster-like entity. Try it out, its not a long game.

Probably one of best free horror games I’ve played in a while, would recommend anyone to give it a try! Video of gameplay on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/kzvMTmzvMoc?si=iO7HLhgYb11vX5kE
I've been back on forth on if I want to recommend this game or not. It's very difficult because it throws you to the mechanical forest sharks with hardly any instruction. The map is huge or at least feels like it and there are mazes (I think). There is a story, but the game doesn't tell you what it is. Since you don't know where to go, the permadeath is especially brutal. It took me three tries to get to the end of the game. That doesn't sound like much, but I played for over an hour. However, I like the aesthetic. I love the sound design of the monsters. There is tension even if it just becomes more frustrating than anything else. And the end is actually quite poetic. So, since it's free, there's really nothing to stop you from giving it a shot. It's obvious the developer has some skill and a story to tell and I want to encourage that. The game isn't great, but it's not bad. You just need to have the time to see it through.
"HeadLight" is a rather poorly made first person horror jumpscare game. I don't think this one is an asset flip because the assets look terrible. It's short and comes across as more of a tech demo or a homework assignment than a professional attempt to make a game. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Developer Response!
The developer has weighed in to inform everyone they didn't read the Developer Usage Rules for Steam "partners", or they deliberately ignored the part where Valve says:
Though it may be tempting, not every review needs to be responded to. A developer response will frequently draw more attention than the original statement, potentially turning a small issue into a much larger community discussion. It's also not a good idea to use this feature to refute customer opinions. Your direct attention can be seen as validation or a defensive attempt to silence your customers.
Certainly one of the weirdest breaches of Valve's guidelines but the developer is (unsurprisingly) in error about a few things. I didn't play the game all the way to the end because it's garbage. If there's any "emotiveness" in my review it's exasperation at yet another badly made game on Steam. If the most popularity the game ever had was a non-ebrity streamer that nobody ever heard of played the game once and found it was so bad that the peak player count remained at only 2 people then it's a catastrophic failure. Or to put it in terms the developer would understand, this turned out to be as effective as telling Lots wife not to turn around. Usually when popular streamers play terrible games they at least get some popularity bump from people also playing the game because the youtube man told them to. Didn't happen here. Finally, there is no god. Nothing in the developers pointless breach of Valve guidelines changes any of the objective facts of my review. My review stands unaltered. I cannot recommend this game to anyone.
I had no idea what to do for the most part. Spend most of my time avoidin' the walkin' spotlight monsters ha. The goal is to avoid lookin' at em while gatherin items for some generators? I like that it features voice overs and the pixel graphics are solid. Not too badfor a free game but it wasn't for me. Middle thumbs up. Gameplay impressions: https://youtu.be/x91QhzR8Si4
I like the hands in the tree things they are so weird compaired to the other two things
