About
Haste is a high-speed third-person running game, set in a collapsing universe. Race through a variety of worlds, master your movement and use items and abilities to progress through each level before it falls apart around you. The game consists of ten Shards, each featuring a collection of procedurally generated levels that must be completed without fail to unlock the next. You’ll encounter challenges and characters on your journey, seeking answers about what lies behind the destruction, and how to escape it!
Third-person high-speed running gameplay
Both single player and online co-op running
10 Shards, each featuring a collection of procedurally generated levels that must be completed without fail to advance to the next Shard
90+ Items that let you customize your build for each attempt to clear a Shard
A story to explore and a lovable cast of characters to befriend
Four spectacular biomes with several different variations
4 abilities to master and 4 different bosses to discover
An unlockable endless mode
Mind-blowing speed is key and every landing counts! Hit the ground running (literally) and you’ll build up speed, but if you fumble it will cost you. You’ll need to think fast and keep track of your ever-changing surroundings to escape before the world crumbles beneath your feet.
In your run you'll be able to collect Sparks to use in the shop levels to manifest items. Items help you customise your run, affecting speed, damage, luck, health and other variables.
Speed through procedurally generated levels as you make your way through each Shard, completing every level before you run out of lives to advance to the next. Gather items and experiment with builds to help you on your way. Your journey through the broken worlds will be unique to you as you try to outrun the apocalypse.
You can now play through the entire game with other Zoes! It's cooperative in that you work together to progress, but we also keep track of player times in levels, which allows for some friendly and pleasant competition. To keep your friends apart we have unlockable skins!

As Zoe, you’ll meet different characters to aid you on your journey, whether through wisdom, encouragement or items to assist you.

Great soundtrack, great story, repeatable game play

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Haste makes waste...is what I was tempted to say but I mulled it over and with the fact an easy mode exists (don't worry I played normal lol) and the fact that I try too hard to be a perfectionist on things and what we have here is a fun game, with a fun concept, story and cast that although the stage designs could be...finicky if not outright cruel in what's thrown at you, with a particular boss that annoyed the living heck out of me, (the third one) it is in fact a well made in a basic way game that looks real nice, has great music to run to and some interesting if not jank mechanics to it which made for an overall good time, I mean I beat it so that's usually a good sign dood. XD Extended review mode activate! Haste is about a young missy who has been travelling and delivering objects/mail? At an interdimensional level, with no clue as to why or how to stop, until now, suddenly she can in the games hub and has to travel through 10 shards to understand and hopefully fix the craziness now going on dood! The game will start off a little confusing, you walk normally (veeery slowly) so really you want to run everywhere, you start that by pushing in the L3 button, this starts you off although once you enter stages typically they start you off running anyway so it's really hub travel you need to know it for, left stick to move left, right and forward while you're walking, running you move forward automatically, R2 activates a special that requires meter, you get four in total eventually, I'd argue only 3 are useful and one of those three is risky to use and finally R2 to dive downward, the way they put it in game is a little huh? But yeah basically just use that to make yourself lower to the ground faster dood. Now why is R2 important? Because this game has a rather interesting mechanic, you see to gain maximum speed and keep your momentum (without using your L2 special) you must land at a downward angle, that will make for a perfect landing, increasing your speed and also your meter more for your special, land on a flat surface and you'll get either good or okay, land at ascending side of a cliff/mountain and you get bad, essentially destroying your momentum entirely, which is very very bad as something is very much behind you and will take one of your three lives if your health goes to 0 and losing it once it has ya is noooo easy feat dood. This is actually one of the irks I have on the game, especially in terms of achievements, personally I am lucky I don't play for those but the devs are a bit more on the perfectionist side than I am when it comes to playing a game perfectly, the layouts of stages really don't allow for perfects all the time, sometimes there are parts that are just straight up impossible to, like if it is possible then it's messed up or so fine that it's just...what? especially seeing as once you hit full speeds being able to intentionally land at a good angle is often more up to fate than skill along with good stages seeing as they are randomly generated to a degree, when it works? It's a blast, when it doesn't? It's frankly rage inducing as you are slowed down to a crawl and basically going to lose for it, in fact getting anything other than perfect slows you down, yes even goods slow you down, it's kind of a big flaw, at the very least good should maintain your momentum, not lower it, okay or lower is dreadful though, so you can probably see why it would be irksome when the terrain is one big pile of nope dood. Of course there are items to buy per run to make these issues a little less of an issue (unless you wanna get all the achievements such as land all perfects the entire shard, score all S the entire shard, beat the last shard taking no damage, landing all perfects and beating the final boss, which was a hahaaaa heck no! from me) as you can buy things that heal you over time, boost your speed passively or give you a short boost, sometimes a conditional risky one and even stuff to increase your charge meter, you get these either from completing hard challenge shards parts or from a friend or from the shopkeeper dood. Talking about the shopkeeper, the layout of each shard is mapped out, you can choose where to go and see what perks you can get on the route you choose, you can even set out the entire route in one go so you can do just the run which is super quality of life to me, great idea on the devs part, never seen that done before myself, the routes include meeting people, challenges and random buff/reward or debuff/debt/damage shard parts, there are even mini games of a sort too, there's a nice amount there dood. Let's talk about the hub, here is where you talk to friends, purchase upgrades to various aspects of the game whether it's stats like health and energy or things like more lives per run, more starting money, that kind of thing, frankly more speed would have been nice, especially for later runs, seeing as what chases you gets much faster and rank is based on your distance from it I gathered eventually but I guess I just had to git gud <_> I honestly have no idea what hard does to make it more difficult but I dread if making that faster is one of the things, I can't see how it's possible at that point XD oh! And it's where you start to go to each new shard, could have done with a quick travel option but it is what it is dood. The bosses are fun and creative, all are hard, only one of them I found...unfair, typically I'd find myself essentially being one shot to put it into perspective (it's two but the situation forces a second hit) but it was still a super cool boss at least, they all are honestly in their own ways, forces of destruction in their own right that felt pretty epic to combat dood. That's the finale ya'all! Nothing else to see here, just me having a final say and that final say is although I can't judge not having played easy, my opinion of the game as fun yet frustrating as it was at times is that it's a speedrunners game, made possibly by speedrunners, for speedrunners, if you're a casual player easy mode may fix this, if you are not but like me refuse to down lower than normal difficulty? Then good luck to you! And for you hard mode+ players? Bless your weary souls and enjoy dood! Thank you for reading and hope you enjoy if you play it dood! ^-^7
Gotta go fast.
