About
Haste is a high-speed third-person running game, set in a collapsing universe. Race through a variety of worlds, master your movement and use items and abilities to progress through each level before it falls apart around you. The game consists of ten Shards, each featuring a collection of procedurally generated levels that must be completed without fail to unlock the next. You’ll encounter challenges and characters on your journey, seeking answers about what lies behind the destruction, and how to escape it!
Third-person high-speed running gameplay
Both single player and online co-op running
10 Shards, each featuring a collection of procedurally generated levels that must be completed without fail to advance to the next Shard
90+ Items that let you customize your build for each attempt to clear a Shard
A story to explore and a lovable cast of characters to befriend
Four spectacular biomes with several different variations
4 abilities to master and 4 different bosses to discover
An unlockable endless mode
Mind-blowing speed is key and every landing counts! Hit the ground running (literally) and you’ll build up speed, but if you fumble it will cost you. You’ll need to think fast and keep track of your ever-changing surroundings to escape before the world crumbles beneath your feet.
In your run you'll be able to collect Sparks to use in the shop levels to manifest items. Items help you customise your run, affecting speed, damage, luck, health and other variables.
Speed through procedurally generated levels as you make your way through each Shard, completing every level before you run out of lives to advance to the next. Gather items and experiment with builds to help you on your way. Your journey through the broken worlds will be unique to you as you try to outrun the apocalypse.
You can now play through the entire game with other Zoes! It's cooperative in that you work together to progress, but we also keep track of player times in levels, which allows for some friendly and pleasant competition. To keep your friends apart we have unlockable skins!

As Zoe, you’ll meet different characters to aid you on your journey, whether through wisdom, encouragement or items to assist you.

Super sympa, le feeling des déplacements est vraiment bon, la musique aussi. La DA est très cool.
It's like if subway surfers was a full-fledged indie game - in a good way. I like playing and just completely zoning out. I like the endless mode, but miss bosses and the variety of shops and challenges - I hope those are added to the mode in the future. The mechanics in general are good, but it feels like it's missing a little something in terms of movement tech, y'know? Maybe a double jump or something? Or the ability to have two pieces of movement equipment on simultaneously? I'm just thinking about what I enjoy about moving around in other games, like Risk of Rain 2 or Silksong, where you are juggling your various skills that each let you gain different amounts of height/distance. This is actually achieved quite well when you pick up items that have effects when activated. But when that doesn't occur, it feels like Haste's movement options are too simple to be engaging, sometimes. It could use extra complexity on top of the landings and energy charging/usage. Maybe an option to upgrade equipment to have a more powerful effect if you use it with a full bar of energy or something? I hope this isn't coming off as an "I dislike Haste because I want a different type of game entirely" sort of critique lol. I just find this game really fun and I want it to be even more fun :)
going fast is fun
k
this game is more of a short demo, gets way to hard, need to go way to fast
If you enjoy surfing in CS you'll love this game. God-tier soundtrack while you aim landings and correct movement to avoid obstacles. There are many approaches you can take, everything works as long as you use your tools well. Great game to play while listening to podcasts in endless mode, there is minimal necessary reading (item descriptions) and the story dialogue is skippable (I recommend not skipping the story since it's good and not too long). About the lore, it's nice. It tackles philosophical ideas eloquently. There is rampant chaos all around and every character has their own sense on what is happening. Their values are communicated clearly and they feel like real people. Runs well and isn't buggy at all.
Decently fun, just couldn't get the controls or really into the game.
Really great, just not for me. Guass: The Game
