About
Harvest Hunt is a single player, first-person survival horror game with a blend of rogue-lite elements, where every run is asking you to adapt in different ways in order to survive. Experience a dark folk-horror tale of a cursed village set in a suffocating atmosphere filled with dread, within the beautifully painterly rendered village of Luna Nova.
Ambrosia, the precious resource scattered around the cornfields, grows in strange ways and the hunger for it is strong. During the night, enter the cursed land of Luna Nova and harvest Ambrosia to keep your village alive. But beware, the Devourer is prowling the fields and is tainting it. In a race against the clock, turn off your lantern to sneak and hide, or fight and banish the Devourer for a bigger reward.
Tentacle creatures, poisoned waters and other dangerous calamities plague Luna Nova. But there is still hope. During the day, experience the enigmatic Whispers, a tarot-inspired system providing endless permutations of calamities but also blessings. Play multiple tense 10-15 minute runs over the course of 5 challenging harvest seasons where your abilities reset with each season and the Devourer evolves and grows stronger.
A pricey voodoo doll made of wood or a free rusty pitchfork? An ability to build hideouts in the fields or to heal you while crouched? Unlock a myriad of otherworldly weapons and abilities for your Warden and village and build your own deck to suit your needs. Will you sacrifice your own health to equip them? Choose your playstyle and survive.
An aristocrat far removed from wealth and ease, a priest left armed with his sacred verses; what led them here, and why do these ethereal Whispers haunt their every step? Embody a colorful cast of characters and explore the lives of these seemingly ordinary villagers through the eyes of a modern day Investigator plagued with the same curse and running out of time…

Harvest Hunt é um jogo que chama atenção pela sua arte, muito bem feita e sem deixar o jogo pesado. Um jogo que com certeza merecia mais atenção!
The hand-drawn art style is stunning! It's a unique horror game, and the lore keeps you coming back for more. It also received some DLC, which I'm looking forward to checking out. Beautiful visuals, intriguing twist to the horror genre in the gameplay, and there are quite a few customizable options in the settings to accommodate any gamer.
10/10 The characters' premise fits my needs of perspective. This might not mean anything, and I apologize if this isn't misleading. I don't leave bad reviews, all efforts are a perfect score.
A spooky and challenging game, basically a single-player version of Hunt: Showdown. You're dropped into a small map and your goal is to harvest as much Ambrosia as you can from a series of landmarks before "extracting" from one of the exit points. But of course, it's not quite that simple. A large roaming monster ('The Devourer') is hunting you, and if it kills you, you lose whatever Ambrosia you found. You have a limited number of attempts to meet a specific "quota" of found Ambrosia, and if you're feeling especially bold, there are tools and weapons you can use to damage and potentially banish The Devourer for a large Ambrosia reward. You can unlock and play as a variety of different "Warden" characters, though in the current build of the game which Warden you pick really only affects which of the various Strength cards you begin with (there isn't any voice acting or unique abilities that differentiate the Wardens in terms of gameplay). Technically, Harvest Hunt isn't an early access game, but if the developer is planning to implement player feedback, here are my suggestions: -Hideouts feel largely useless since, if the player is chased into one, The Devourer often "camps" them by just standing around near the hideout the player is in, pretty much guaranteeing another chase will ensure when the player exits since The Devourer auto-detects them if they get too close even if they're crouched and their lantern is off (though it is at least nice that hideouts provide a one-time heal) -It'd be nice if there was some way the player could escape The Devourer's "grab," maybe through a timed QTE button press, and maybe only if they had a certain Strength card or only if they were holding a pitchfork -This would also help solve the current issue of pitchforks largely feeling useless since it's so easy for The Devourer to grab the player and drain most of their health -More unlockables would be nice, be they new Strenght/Fortification cards, new characters, cosmetic items, etc. Currently, once you manage to complete a full "run" of the game (finishing a full harvest season with each of the five currently available characters), there's really not much more incentive to keep playing aside from unlocking a few lore entries Aside from the above feedback, Harvest Hunt is a solid choice if you're looking for a spooky game to play and you like the "extraction" mechanic of Hunt: Showdown but you don't want to put up with all the PvP nonsense.
Solid 6-8 hour game experience. Wish there was another map, more variations, etc. but I'm guessing the game undersold and the developers couldn't do more. Buy on sale and play for a weekend. Cheaper than a movie.
Great game and a lot of fun. Not too long to 100% the game but it's replayable and enjoyable throughout
I've not had as much time as I would like playing this but from what I've experienced so far: - Like everyone, I love the art style, super unique, sort of comforting and creepy at the same time. - The lore is interesting and pretty deep, feels like the game would make a great film. - Stealth mechanics are where the game is made. Ultimately, a very good horror roguelike.

Loving my time with this game! It's very slow and deliberate, gameplay wise, and the art is simply stunning. It bleeds through to the whole vibe of the game. Tons of lore (which was unexpected) and great roguelike stuff with a sprinking of DBD style 'avoid the hunter' type mechanics.
