This game doesn't appear to be active. Matchmaking didn't work for me and there's no option to play offline.
When I bought this game, I was really excited to play it. After some time, I came back to play and when I opened the game, I was genuinely happy with the game environment — it was really beautiful. The beauty of the game isn't just in the environment; even the graphics and the customizations you can do for your team and characters are very exciting! I played all the offline matches, won them all, and now I was ready to go to the online section to see how fun it would be there. I started a 3v3 game, and after about 5 minutes the match started... At first I thought everyone was a player, but then I checked the tab and saw that besides me, no one was a real player — they were all bots... Bots in an online multiplayer game... It's really funny. I didn't pay much attention to it and tried to enjoy the game, until later I went to the 6v6 section because I thought there probably wouldn't be any bots there. Well, there were no bots, because the match wouldn't even start at all :))) I've waited a total of over 2 hours (20 minutes each time) for a 6v6 match to start, and the result was that the game never started... I went to check its page on SteamDB to see how many players it has... The result really surprised me — only 30 players :)) I even think my private Minecraft server has more players than this. Imagine putting in so much time, releasing updates every once in a while, a huge team coming together to build the game, and... now only 30 players :)) It's really hilarious to me, the fact that Warner Bros doesn't care about advertising this game at all, and that the game's support is so weak. In short, if you just want to play offline, it's good for you; otherwise, at least for now, the game isn't made for online play."
Have to sign up to even play it as there is no offline. During training alt-tabbed for a moment and when I got back into the game there seemed to be a disconnect, nothing worked, and had to alt-f4.

absolutely not
is fun a little repetitive and maybe a little difficult to play solo. 100% a better with friends game.
🧹 8.5/10 - Recommended
As a huge Harry Potter fan who absolutely loved Hogwarts Legacy, playing Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions was a no-brainer. Throughout Hogwarts Legacy, the characters constantly talk about Quidditch, only to remind you that Headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black suspended the sport after a student was injured. It always felt like the game was teasing us, making us wish we could actually take to the skies ourselves. Thankfully, that wish eventually became reality with Quidditch Champions. Unfortunately, I arrived a little late to the party. By the time I started playing, the multiplayer population had already dwindled significantly. To be fair, it didn't stay alive for very long after launch, so I probably didn't miss the game's "golden days" by much. As a result, about 95% of my playtime was spent playing against bots, and honestly, I still had a lot of fun. The AI isn't groundbreaking, but it's good enough to let you enjoy the different roles, improve your mechanics, and simply live out the fantasy of playing Quidditch. Thankfully, I also stumbled upon the small but incredibly dedicated community that still keeps the game alive. They regularly organize matches and events across several Discord servers, and while many of them are absolute pros, they were always welcoming to newcomers. A big thank you to everyone who continues supporting this game—you made my experience far more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been. Gameplay is exactly what you'd expect: fast-paced, chaotic, and surprisingly fun once you get the hang of each position. Flying around iconic stadiums, chasing the Snitch, and pulling off satisfying saves captures the fantasy of playing Quidditch remarkably well. Achievement-wise, there wasn't anything particularly difficult. The only one that overstayed its welcome was winning 100 Quidditch matches. That one definitely felt like a grind, and I think 50 wins would have been a much more reasonable requirement without making the achievement any less meaningful. Overall, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions may not have become the long-lasting multiplayer hit many hoped for, but as a Harry Potter fan, I still had a great time with it. If you've ever wanted to experience the sport that Hogwarts Legacy kept reminding you that you couldn't play, this is exactly that fantasy brought to life.
There really is not much to this game. You play Quidditch to earn currency to unlock new brooms, outfits, characters, etc. It clearly was meant to have a microtransaction centric gameplay loop that doesn't exist anymore. While its good the game removed those microtransactions, it shows that the game can't really stand on its own. Nothing is left. Playing quidditch itself is fun enough if your a Harry Potter fan. It really makes you feel like Spiderman. But the actual gameplay structure was to rigid. Its like worse Rocket League. Players are forced to play only one role (at a time), which limits what you can contribute towards the teams. For example, only the beaters can interact with the bludgers, which is a shame. Keepers have the most boring role, so they got creative with some team captain stuff to boost their allies who are actually playing the game. The seeker minigame is alright, but doesn't feel like there is much room for skill expression. Just follow the snitch until you can catch it. There were also things like skill trees for each player on your team. For example, you can increase passing distance for passers. And there are not enough skill points to unlock everything, leaving room for meaningful choices which I liked in theory. But these skills weren't much of a difference maker in matches, so it instead felt like a chore to assign everyone skills that didn't change how I played each match. The vibes are good, but the gameplay is shallow. Shallow doesn't mean bad though. You can see my play time. Only get this game on a good sale. I hope there can be a better sequel that doesn't start development asking how the game will be monetized.
