Good Game
Avoid at all costs
It's an endless runner, but it gets nothing right. This is a very bad game. I had no fun playing this and hated the entirety of the 5 minutes I suffered though this nonsense. Pros:

Music is okay
Cons:

Objects can spawn 1ft in front of your character when you spawn, so you're just dead and have to wait 5-10sec for it to reload. This happens most times you'll spawn.
Escape key closes game entirely
No volume slider
Have to let go of and tap the directional key that you want to turn with
The character just slides around and it feels like you're on ice
There are 2 obstacles. A metal fence+yellow sign and a pit with fiery cars. You can only jump over the cars in the pit
This view is right behind the character's back pretty much, which is a horrible angle for an endless runner
The collectibles can spawn inside the map border or just wherever it feels like
The "record" feature doesn't even track correctly and resets upon every death
Stay away from this mess regardless of the discount you see. It's not worth your time or money. I spent more time typing this review up than playing the game because I couldn't take it anymore. It's not even fun in a "haha funny" bad way. It's just bad with no redeeming qualities.

It's been 3 years, I don't think multiplayer is coming. I'll start off by saying I enjoyed the music and was surprised with the amount of music in the game. That being said, there was nothing else I enjoyed about this. You often spawn directly in front of obstacles which leads to instant death. An odd choice, and an annoying one. You run down a short city corridor before you make a 90 degree turn down another identical street. This repeats and the speed of your zombie increases. It's not very enjoyable, and I would not recommend it.

It seems a port or re-use of another game. Launching it opens Steam VR, but it doesn`t run in VR mode - has none. game is not good by itself.

Hardcore ZBoy developed and published by Narko Games is a low-budget action title that reimagines the endless runner formula through a zombie-themed perspective. Instead of escaping from the undead, players assume control of a zombie attempting to outrun pursuing humans while navigating a hazardous urban landscape. The premise is simple and direct, focusing entirely on survival and point accumulation rather than narrative depth or structured progression. The gameplay loop revolves around continuous forward movement. The character runs automatically, and the player’s task is to steer through obstacles, avoid capture, and endure as long as possible. Points accumulate based on distance traveled and survival time, with specific thresholds required to reach subsequent in-game stages. There are no story-driven missions, branching paths, or character arcs—only the core objective of lasting longer with each attempt. This stripped-down approach makes the game immediately accessible but also limits its capacity for mechanical variety. Control responsiveness plays a crucial role in such a design, as precision is essential in fast-paced runners. Movement is functional but lacks the refined fluidity seen in more polished titles within the genre. Collisions with environmental elements can feel abrupt, and the limited range of player actions reduces strategic flexibility. Obstacles and hazards are presented in predictable patterns, which can initially create tension but eventually become repetitive as there are few new mechanics introduced over time. Visually, Hardcore ZBoy adopts a straightforward presentation. Environments depict a stylized cityscape with basic textures and lighting. The art direction is functional rather than detailed, providing just enough clarity to distinguish obstacles and pathways. Character animations are simple, reflecting the game’s modest production scope. The soundtrack, featuring energetic music, attempts to inject momentum into the experience, reinforcing the sense of urgency even when gameplay variety begins to plateau. One of the challenges the game faces is sustaining engagement beyond short sessions. Endless runners often rely on incremental progression systems—unlockables, cosmetic changes, skill upgrades, or leaderboards—to encourage replayability. Hardcore ZBoy offers limited long-term incentives beyond personal score improvement. Without a layered reward system or evolving difficulty patterns, the experience can feel static after multiple runs. That said, its simplicity may appeal to players looking for a brief, no-frills distraction. The concept of controlling a zombie rather than escaping one offers a minor thematic twist that differentiates it from standard runner tropes. For casual play sessions, the straightforward mechanics can provide quick bursts of entertainment without requiring significant time investment. Ultimately, Hardcore ZBoy represents a minimalist take on the endless runner genre. Its focus on survival-based scoring and immediate accessibility defines both its strengths and weaknesses. While it does not introduce innovative systems or extensive content, it delivers a basic arcade-style loop centered on endurance and reaction time. For players curious about obscure indie projects or seeking a short-lived diversion, it may offer modest amusement. However, those searching for depth, progression, or refined mechanics will likely find its limitations more noticeable over extended play. Rating: 5/10
虽然我不推荐这个游戏,但这个游戏的音乐是真的好听 游戏玩法:躲障碍吃脑子,AD控制左右移动以及转弯,空格控制跳跃
Okay I don't really get this game but it was okay 5/10
