The original cooking horror returns in an unhinged co-op experience for 1-4 players. Grill burgers, serve customers, and hit your quota before the kitchen turns into a nightmare. When Asset Joy begins her hunt, try to escape alive and extract your hard-earned cash to survive another shift.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Sep 15 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You and your crew are hired to participate in an experiment run by the Paragon Corporation. It sounds like a standard fast-food gig: grill burgers, fry sides, pour drinks, work the register, hit your quota, and keep the customers happy.
Every shift is a ticking clock – the kitchen always wins eventually. Once the simulation collapses, Asset Joy breaks containment and begins her hunt. The iconic mascot is back for blood – and you have only one chance to escape!
The game reacts to what you say on the mic. Speak the wrong word, and Asset Joy will hear you. Speak the right incantation, and the kitchen warps. Learn how to use incantations to your advantage, and what to never say aloud if you don’t want to anger the beast.
35+ modifiers ensure each run goes off the rails in a unique way. Rush Hour brings additional customers for a more profitable yet more chaotic shift. Profanity Policy punishes the team every time someone swears on the mic. Midmaxxing messes up the appliances' cooking temperatures.
Escape alive, and your earnings come with you. Spend them on boosters, sacrifice them to the ascension ritual to move the story forward, or gamble them on harder contracts for bigger payouts.
Happy's Humble Burger Cult (formerly Burgatory) is the next chapter in the Scythe Studios Universe, and a direct successor to Happy's Humble Burger Farm – peeling back another layer of the Paragon Corporation's reality-warping simulation program. Ready to go down the rabbit hole again?

Minuses: Needs polishing for shure. Bugs exist lol. Cat noices dont work for example Tutorial is bad, really bad - shows how soft everything is than ♥♥♥♥♥ on you HARD when you first start. Cant be cute Cow named "Happy", unless you get her costume after some grind this should be an unlockable for real cos characters (players) looks ugly lol, insane why we are not some morphed versions of salmon, chiken, pig or cow but i guess... Thats just my thing and you can ignore that... But if will be done would be highly apreciated! Even paid for in form of DLC obviously! Pluses: Actualy peak game that requires some skill to adapt, if not suffocating endgame this is easy best friend coop game here. Will def change my review when game will get polished and fixed as planning to get a copy for friend. DEVS RESPONDED SO Changed for positive because endgame was changed, need to play more to get to harder points to correctly form an opinion - but its now def a breather After playing it, im now can confirm endgame on level is now bareable and very easy, finally! Please, just continue with game and dont drop it, love it so far! Cat noices ae also was fixed and now working. So far so good!
Uncountable amount of bugs, mechanically stupid, disgustingly ugly UI and bad UX.

General experience

First time boot, horrendous UI right from the get go. Intro video is stupid, why would you make people watch a gameplay video with a monotone commentator instead of playing the existing tutorial?
Hosted coop, friend joins, no entities spawn not even doors or objects. The game didn't let us go to the actual level so we couldn't play.
Second try, we finally managed to get to level, This time whenever I grab an item, the game instantly discards it.
Third try, first order includes salmon nuggets but there is no salmon nuggets anywhere. Paid the worker NPC but he's just standing still. While trying to cook a burger, I threw a cooked patty at the chopping table, it clipped through the table, I had to cook again.
Fourth try, this time we actually played until quota completion and closed the restaurant early, BUT now we couldn't see any objective outlines. We tried to complete anyways, until a monster grabbed me from behind a wall.
Fifth try, game discards held item at random times, RQ.

Gameplay complaints

Why do we slip some random papers to a random monster at the beginning, what's the point?
Why do we ring a bell instead of just clicking the finished item?
Why do some item cooking cooldowns progress up while others progress down?
Why is the tutorial level vastly different to the starting level?
Why isn't any random event monster demonstrated at the tutorial?
Why can we spit if it does nothing?
Why can we both punch and shove if punching does nothing and shoving is just the superior option?
Many more issues...

Positive sides

Main menu splash screen looks cool and unique.
The humor is kinda cringe and unfunny but that makes it funny.

Closing remarks
It feels like a roblox game, but those are free. This costs 5 bucks and it's extremely low quality and ugly and bug ridden. Just skip this one.
Game needs a kick system, griefers are persistent. The horror aspect is underwhelming as there's only one actual threat that can be avoided by just standing on objects. The cow needs to be reworked so that after she hits you, she teleports to a different part of the map and not tele you right next to her adding more time to the debuff.

Great game, I really do enjoy it, it's just the performance for myself (and for my friends) is just too poor. Just looking towards the lobby can drop me down to 20 fps, and general gameplay is 15-30 fps, when I shouldn't be dropping so badly in terms of frames. Could be a culling issue, my friend who's on worse hardware had similar issues too. Though they had to use lossless scaling just to hit 10+fps. Considering the other games that I can run, and that my friend can run, these performance issues to this degree shouldn't be happening. I'd love to play more but it's just an unenjoyable experience until these performance issues are fixed. If the performance issues manage to be fixed, I'd for sure come back and try again, and if they're fixed I'd also change my review.
toe might actually be the glonkiest glonk of all time edit: serious review, it's fun to play with friends. however, if you want to 100% this game with all achievements and your friends want to as well, this isn't for you. there are achievements that only the owner of a save file can obtain, meaning that if you desired to 100% this game with your friends, you would have to get all those achievements on your own and your friends save files.
I love this game. But why can't we give Happy a pat on the head? Also would love to see more of the other Barnyard Buds.
We really wanted to like this game, but it was disappointing. The directions are unclear as to where to go initially when you spawn in to begin the game. Then when you finally get to the restaurant to take orders its difficult to make them and there are no clues as to how to serve the items to the customer. Meanwhile the restaurant catches on fire....and then some monster bum rushes you and you die.. so thats awesome...honestly I expected some happy npcs to show you around or at least show you how its done or help with orders, but no you get nothing but confusion and order timer and a mothman death....I wouldn't recommend this one its not as fun as the initial advert made it look. Like my dog and her toys we played with it once and never touched it again. (multiplayer does not help we did online co-op)
not really one for occult or demonism stuff. dont remember it's presence in Burger Farm so it's a little frustrating it's in this now. was there stuff like this in the old game???
