About
You wake up gasping for air, but your lungs burn as you cough up PFC fluid. Disoriented and alone, you find yourself trapped aboard a derelict space station. But you're not truly alone—anomalous activity has consumed the station! Your only chance for survival lies in getting to HANGAR 8 and escaping this looping nightmare before it’s too late!
HANGAR 8 is a sci-fi walking simulator crossed with a spooky spot-the-difference game inspired by The Exit 8. Be on the look out for anomalies between levels 1 to 8, while using level 0 as a reference. Anomalies could be anything from something being not quite right in the environment, to deadly monsters and otherworldly entities. If you find an anomaly, turn back—otherwise you just need to keep moving forward! HANGAR 8 is all about creating a tense psychological horror atmosphere and getting you to question your sanity while collecting key items and reading lost crew logbooks in order to escape the looping nightmare!
A complete science-fiction psychological horror experience! HANGAR 8 is a complete game solo-developed with passion, that has a beginning, middle, and a single ending. While there is only one ending, there are slight differences with each playthrough, as you discover all anomalies. Any possible future updates will be FREE!
58 Anomalies To Discover, offering replay-ability for multiple escape attempts! If you spot an anomaly, it will never repeat until all fifty anomalies are found. (There is a extra mode to enable all anomalies for a greater challenge!)
Collect the 6 key items required to escape, while finding 6 optional logbooks hidden throughout the space station to read for game lore!
Interactive Objects will immerse you in this spooky spot-the-difference puzzle game. Explore the environment in order to figure out how to escape the cursed space station! You will need to look inside crates, or even turn on showers in order to verify that levels are clear of anomalies.
30 to 120+ minutes for a single play-through, depending on your perceptive skills and how lucky you get with the random anomaly selection algorithm. (Auto-save feature for if you want to take a break and continue later!)
8 Achievements to gain, one of which will test your speed running skills! HANGAR 8 has a built-in timer and an official leaderboard on for those who want to challenge me (the dev) and optimise their escape times!

Phenomenal game. Especially considering it's a solo developer's FIRST GAME! The anomalies were tricky- some subtle, some obvious, some avoidable and some insta-deaths. 10/10. You've got something here, bro.
Alright anomaly game to scratch the itch. A bit of replayability and plenty of anomalies to find.
This is a cool space anomaly game. It contains many anomalies, so you can play it more than once. The anomalies are not all the same. One small negative point is that the mechanics aren't explained. For me, who has played a few of these anomaly games before, it was obvious, but for some people it might be difficult to figure out that if there's an anomaly, you have to go back, and if there isn't one, you just keep going straight.
Good game! was pretty fun and quick, and I actually got scared with some of the anomalies. looking forward to future games by this dev.
Fun game, played with friends on discord for a few hours. The anomalies were pretty fun to find, and a couple even got a good jumpscare in. Well wroth the asking price, we'll be playing this again to find more of the anomalies
Dann doch lieber: "Shinkansen 0" "The Ten Bells" und/oder "The Cabin Factory" (usw...) zocken.
Pretty good. I like it overall. My only really complaint is that it wasn't immediately obvious to me which way to go. There's a reason it's usually spelled out as a wall sign in this genre. Between that and the giant hangar sign with an arrow initially making me think that I was supposed to go that way, it was a bit confusing. Figured out the intention pretty quick though. Not sure how I feel about the game only knocking you back one level on failure. It makes it easier but also deprives you of a chance to re-examine the base level. On the other hand, only being knocked back one level means mistakes aren't a big deal so you don't really need to review the base level. Edit: Sometimes it does kick you back to the start, but the criteria for that versus going back a single level is incredibly opaque to me. Dev, if you read this, it would be much better to explicitly state the rules.
The game explains absolutely nothing I just run in circles and don't know what to look out for somehow I got to hangar 05 but don't even know why
I kept waiting to get scared… it never happened. That said, I didn’t hate it either. HANGAR 8 does the anomaly loop thing well enough — walk, observe, second guess yourself, repeat. It’s clean, it works, it just never really escalates. Feels like a solid foundation that just needed a bit more to stand out. Still, for a solo dev’s first game? Fair play.
