A charming pixel art platform adventure, reminiscent of the good old 16-bit days. Served as the foundation for the retro-platformer Tiny Thor.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

Don't be fooled, Hammer Kid is a lot more difficult than it first appears... Hammer Kid is a tough platformer all about well, a kid with a hammer. Follow the kid as he makes his way through different worlds, with a trusty hammer at his side, that can be thrown or used as a melee attack. Great pixel art for the most part, apart from a few texture glitches here and there, but that's excusable. The movement is fun, though, the same can't be said about the wall jump ability, that could be improved for sure. The music is way too good, just about every song slaps! I don't understand why there's so many collectibles though. We have green gems which each level has a set amount of. Red gems, which each level has three, coins that randomly appear after defeating an enemy and random food items that also drop from enemies. Honestly I've no idea what purpose they all serve... Overall though, a really fun play, it isn't perfect and has plenty of flaws but for a free platformer, it's definitely worth a few minutes to maybe even a few hours!
Controls are bad, gameplay is uninteresting... Gave up after like 15 minutes because it just wasn't worth it.

when level pass can free enter. dpad button need diy and tips. music need +-.
Gostei desse free.
"Hammer Kid" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Tiny Thor". Tiny Thor is an abysmally failed product, one of literally SEVENTEEN THOUSAND 2D retro platformers infesting Steam, with lacklustre pixel art, derivative design, and no players, because it was a failure. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Tiny Thor, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Hammer Kid" too. The purpose of this advertisement is to get you to shell out an eye watering TWENTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS on buying the full "Tiny Thor" failed and playerless product... and I don't recommend you do. Twenty bucks and they can't even do computer game graphics properly... what a joke. This is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash. Just because advertisements are free, doesn't mean they're worth your time. It's important to understand there's a formal process to create a demo/page for a game which hasn't been followed here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/demos While it might seem like an inocuous mistake, publishing demos and advertisements as if they are full games is misleading and in some ways harmful. This advertisement is taking up marketing space and visibility that would be better made available to a developer that's done the right thing and created a full game. Instead, that visibility is given over to a demo/advert that's been published incorrectly and is polluting the marketplace. It's unclear if this mistake was made through incompetence or a deliberate intent to mislead gamers. Often developers may choose to incorrectly publish demo/advertisements as separate games as a cheap way to bypass paying Valve for marketing presence on the Steam front page, which may seem clever to them, but it's harmful behaviour and it's not good for gamers. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 10 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Advertisements and incorrectly published demos don't add +1 to your game collector count, they aren't full games. It's impossible for me to recommend this incorrectly published advertising spam to gamers, you deserve better than adverts.
Developer Response!
The developer has weighed in to inform everyone they didn't read the Developer Usage Rules for Steam "partners", or they deliberately ignored the part where Valve says:
Though it may be tempting, not every review needs to be responded to. A developer response will frequently draw more attention than the original statement, potentially turning a small issue into a much larger community discussion. It's also not a good idea to use this feature to refute customer opinions. Your direct attention can be seen as validation or a defensive attempt to silence your customers.
The developer pretends this advertisement has nothing to do with the product it's advertising when caught out dumping advertisements on Steam and ignoring the correct process for publishing game demos. Of course it does not matter how long the advertisement is, what matters is that it is an advertisement, and in this case an advertisement that was overwhelmingly rejected by gamers for being the garbage it is. SteamDB does not lie, no matter how angry and hostile this failed developer gets. When called out for this harmful behaviour the developer immediately resorts to direct, hostile personal attacks against this reviewer for nothing other than stating a truth his immature and emotionally stunted mind cannot cope with. This mental deficiency explains the terrible quality of this failed advertisement, but does not excuse it. Insults, slurs and profanity make it clear who this developer is. His pathetic, incoherent attempt to make this game review about me instead of accepting his failure tells us all we need to know about him and why this advertisement failed. Nothing in the developers pointless breach of Valve guidelines changes any of the objective facts of my review. My review stands unaltered. I cannot recommend this garbage advertisement for a garbage product to anyone.

Desisti do jogo.
Reminds me in games like Turrican.
A retro platformer where we play as a young Thor. This game serves as a prequel to Tiny Thor. Across 40 levels, the player must battle various monsters and collect crystals. The game features 16-bit graphics and includes an old TV effect option—for full immersion into "childhood." The pleasant soundtrack that accompanies your adventures is also worth noting.
