HALP! is a single-player VR sandbox puzzle game where you help a stranded scavenger pirate captain fix his broken ship before spaceworms attack... or where you DON'T do that and just enjoy poking around and messing with the ship's various gizmos and contraptions.

What a genius concept! Quite a short experience but I was totally immersed and intrigued the whole way. It's definitely worth the price of admission. I'm using a DK2 with Xbox controller and in spite of this the game is still extremely impressive. A must have experience for VR this was more fun than much of the crap u have to pay for. Definitely going to put some more time into this to see if I can avoid the abrupt ending. Halp is just Über. Download it.

Very cool. Awesome use of the touch pad to do the thumb, and the trigger button to do the other fingers. Very very smart. A little stuttering when I moved into the 2nd section of the ship and I looked at that hovering light thingy to my right which floats the electricity conducting metal boxes. The stuttering isn't cool, especially considering I'm running an overclocked gtx 1080 strix with a 6700k cpu. If I'm getting stuttering then it's going to be a big issue for others. Besides that, really smart little demo. Really good graphics too. Thanks

Really awesome little game here. The graphics look nice nice, I am a little jealous of Vive owners though. As an Oculus user the controls with a controller are a little awkward, but easy enough to get used to. You owe it to yourself to at least check this game out, it is one of the best games I've played in VR so far.
A bit short but free so I won't complain. Very original concept and creative realization with lots of attention to detail. Hopefully there will be a full game in this vein to follow. Extra props for the brief irritation about an extra in-game Vive motion controller and destructible credits! :-D
I playerd for 3 mins with very little instructions and a big worm came out spit on my face. Then I'm forced to see the endless list of producer names... I don't mind you provide no instructions, but throw the name list at me without even tell me I'm dead and without providing any way to go back? no
I've had this for a while. Wish I could give it a proper review, but it keeps placing me about 3ft higher than would allow me to play it (most of the content is through my actual floor).
This looks like a nice experiment, but with a bit more than the minimum requirements with a Vive (i5-6600, 970 OC, 16GB ), the framerate is not bearable in VR. I don't know if this is an optimization problem or if the minimum requirements have been overestimated, but allowing to change some graphic settings would have been nice. That's a real shame to give a thumb down to free stuff, so I'm giving it a thumb up, but it's still a disapointement and I don't recommand dowloading it if you don't have at least the recommanded configuration ("minimum" is abviously not enough).
I love this kinds of experiences in VR. It is so interesting to see what devs can come up with in this new fantastic medium that is VR. And its free :-)
When the game starts, the interactable area is outside my play area... and there is no way to move. Fail. There's no tutorial, no settings, nothing. Also, it swaps your hands. Steam VR right hand becomes left, and vice versa. The game often hangs on launch, forcing you to exit steam in order to restart the game. I have to assume it's free because the developers do not know what they are doing, and this game is a learning process for them.
