Halo infinite is the best halo game since Halo Reach. That isn't saying all that much though. Since most Halo games since then have been mid to bad. It's not a bad game but far from a good game. Never pay full price for the single player campaign.

The current state of the servers is really disappointing. Latency has increased significantly compared to before. The game used to be much more stable, and the connection quality was excellent. Now, higher ping and server instability are making the experience noticeably worse.
мультиплеер хучший. компания норм.
Its Halo
It's actually really good
Un muy buen Halo, en unos años la misma comunidad que lo odiaba volverá a glorificarlo como todos las entregas, excepto el 5
Just bought this game on steam for20$ on sale after not playing it for years. It took me 22 hours to beat this game on legendary with all of the open world side content being completed as well. I think it's the most fun combat loop in the series. It perfects halo's 30 seconds of fun, and the fundamentals of guns, grenades, and melee are perfect as well. The new iteration of equipment, having it useable at all times with a cooldown is nice compared to halo 3's pick up system. The grapple hook is amazing and exploring the open world to find spartan cores to upgrade yourself, save marine squads, and rallying troops for fighting banished bases is fun. The only problem with this game is it's lack of variety. The game has 3 major open world areas and they're all super fun to explore especially the second one, but that's it. After that the final 5 or so missions are back to back linear levels and no new open world areas are unlocked. It all looks like the 2nd level of Halo 1 (like the pacific northwest USA). From what I've heard about Halo Infinites 6 year development cycle is that they spent 3 years only making the engine of the game so the actual game development took 3 more years, however, because of their over reliance on (typically foreign) contractors rather than in house American employees, people had to be trained for months before they became useful and they'd leave when their contract expires. So by 2020 when they revealed the game would release in 2020 they decided to cutback on 2/3 of the campaign's content and they still had to delay it by a year to 2021. Eventually they ended up with a decent final product, but 4 of the 5 biomes were cut, 2/3 of the story was cut and saved for DLC (which never happened), and what's left feels like an incomplete story. A story which meta analyses itself and talks of the potential of Master Chief and his new AI companion. Which is an allegory for the series as a whole. Infinite is a solid reboot of the franchise after the disaster of Halo 4 and 5, but the execution was flawed. Halo as a franchise has a lot of potential going forward, but the capitalization of that potential failed because of 343 and Microsoft's incompetence. Hopefully Halo Studios can complete this story and hopefully the next story relies less on outside knowledge. A lot of the themes of the story like the parallels between the humans and Forerunners can only be understood with book knowledge. Even then if you only played Halo 1-3 and then just jumped to infinite, the lore established about the forerunners in Halo 1-3 is ruined. In the original trilogy is was clear the "forerunners" were not a species, but a title for ancient humans who had incredible technology, but in creating the Halo's, they sacrificed it to kill all life in the galaxy to destroy the flood. In Halo 3 the Gravemind says "I am a monument to all your sins" to master chief. It's clear that the Forerunners were meant to be human and that the Halos and the sacrifice of the forerunners to destroy the flood which are the "monument to all your sins" has biblical parallels. This depth is ruined by 343's interpretation of the story of Halo. Despite these issues, they do not ruin the game for me, I think it looks and plays great and is the best game and story 343 has released so far, even tough it pales in comparison to even spinoff stories like Reach and ODST made by Bungie. I hope with the new CEO of Xbox tightening the ship we can get new Halo stories more often which carry the philosophy around Halo Infinite to some extent and expand and improve on it over time. I can't wait to see where the Halo franchise goes from here and I'm cautiously optimistic. If "Halo Studios" takes what makes Halo Infinite's gameplay great and creates a new story telling philosophy closer to bungie which emphasizes the mystery and ancientness of the halo's, and the gritty militaristic war story like perspective of the humans just trying to survive against the odds, they'll be able to surpass Bungie. Overall I give this game like a 6.5/10.
This game is worth it multiplayer is fun and the story mode is amazing. Only thing is the story was kinda short but theres still things for you to do after the main story is finished.
