Tatlı, chill ve Pixel-art seven birisinin Half Past Fate'i es geçmemesi gerektiğini düşünüyorum.
On the positive side, it's a beautiful game, really cute and wholesome. For some reason, it went through the step-by-step instructions of how to change a tire, and I wasn't even bored during it! The game has its charms, for sure! However, it felt like extremely superficial and simplistic storytelling and it just didn't deliver on that aspect. It does not feel like I actually got to know these people and their romances, and sometimes the game framed things in ways that I simply didn't agree with - immediately getting angry at someone
for having a business deal fall through
, yelling at and then throwing a drink at this person felt like a weird and bad reaction to me, and that happened two in-game hours before these two characters had their romantic high point in game. That couple died for me with that fight, so that put a sour taste in my mouth for the end of the game. Another couple barely gets to interact, so they still feel like strangers to each other by the end. The game survives its storytelling weakness by being pretty to look at, and NPCs occasionally have interesting things to say, but overall this game was disappointing to me. It seems like the best love stories might be lived by NPCs. On the puzzles, some of them were fun, some of them felt empty to me, like it was just a "we need another puzzle / fetch quest in this chapter" deal where something was squeezed in for filler. So, overall, I didn't really enjoy playing this, and I wasn't invested in these love stories while I played, which was the big problem. To me, I would consider this game being three romantic short films in one, with none of them feeling very romantic or believable to me.
amo o amor!!! ps: não jogue se for solteiro
I like the art, the soundtrack and the concept, but you get to know the characters so little and jump between each stories pretty fast. The pacing just ruined it for me.
A cute and wholesome game, but the characters and story lack depth. There is no development or tension in the game that leaves you bored. Only recommend buying if on sale.
I bought this game just because the art style caught my attention. never really thought I'd actually play it or be invested in it, but here we are! this game was SO CUTE like a real rom-com movie plus THE STRING THEORY! everyone is always connected. I absolutely loved every aspect of it except for the background music I found it a little overstimulating. JAREN AND ANA ARE MY FAVS <333 TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT
I bought it bc the graphics were really beautiful & I was going through a phase where I wanted to try a game like this. The graphics didn’t disappoint but the characters... I found ALL of them unbearable, not exceptions. Every single character and couple was horribly cliché & thats why I stopped enjoying the game about halfway through, even though I still completed it with some extra stuff out of inertia. But seriously, the characters... ugh
just... no
Basically an ensemble cast rom-com (think: Love Actually, Valentine’s Day, He’s Just Not that Into You) in indie game format. Adorable pixel art and characters that grow on you before you know it. It’s easy to underestimate this game and let it rot on your backlog, but it’s a really sweet and worthwhile experience.
