Hadrian's Villa Reborn: South Theater

I bought Hadrian's Villa Reborn: South Theater because I own some of the other titles by the same publisher; Rome Reborn: Flight over Ancient Rome, Rome Reborn: The Pantheon, Rome Reborn: The Basilica of Maxentius. I'm also interested in the Roman period and really like this sort of education program with the potential VR can give the viewer. For the price Hadrian's Villa Reborn: South Theater is a great little education piece of software and I really hope and wish more of these are made. If you're familiar with the style of the other Reborn series you'll be happy with this title. However, if you expect some sort of free roaming software then this isn't it. You are presented with options to stand in certain spots and you'll listen to a short talk on what you're looking at from a qualified academic. If you go into this knowing that then you won't be disappointed. My only gripe is that the scale sometimes feels wrong. I feel very small where as the scene presented is supposed to be 1:1 scale. It's often only because you are the same head height as some of the other characters that you realise that they're human sized and they're not actually giants. I don't know how they can fix that feeling of scale issue. All in all, if you like the Roman period and enjoy short educational experiences that aren't too gimmicky then you'll probably enjoy this.
