Hi Devs I did play it for over an hour and I was told its your first game (no clue if its true) and I did really enjoy it up until chapter 4 when you couldn't get the end of the game achievement for some reason but if it is your first published game Id say it is a bit expensive for a game I could finish in about an hour that may lack in replayability (Which is granted with it being your first game that probably did take a long while with a small dev team) WWW: the hallway getting smaller in chapter 3 was cool , the guy with the hacksaw murdering my friend the cashier in front of me was really funny because he started spinning out like crazy but I didn't get a clip :(. The humour was good like the homeless guy behind the station with just his legs dangling out or the big guy from the station in the cage was funny and the bathtub in the station bathroom. EBI: The achievement for finishing chapter five even after getting put on the table in that one ending and it sent me back to the menu so I assumed it had ended but maybe not and I did it wrong even though it seemed like it had no other direction to go since the other little building wouldn't allow me to go inside, and I think we should be able to use the urinals and toilets for immersion obviously, (Also when you get into chapter 3 its hard to find the key even with the lights on because its placed in the one dark place behind the dark pipes which had me searching for like 20 minutes which was pretty annoying) Thank you and I hope to see more titles from you in the future
Im not gonna lie to you, I think this game sucks. Its very obviously underbaked, which isnt surprising considering the demo for it came out less than a month ago (I played the demo 11 days before the full game) In the demo there were issues, felt under-done and under developed. No detail, no actual story, underwhelming dialogue and visuals (no details). I also experienced a game breaking bug in the demo. The video of the demo and bug is up on youtube, as is the full game. There are more details in the mansion than the demo, but thats where the improvements stop. Out in the garden in chapter 2, which is like 5 minutes long, nothing happens and the shed is locked. It looks weird, not like itd be anyone's backyard. You go into the basement and this is where this game went from mediocre to bad. First you have a sequence where you step on runes after the game takes your flashlight so youre running after these lights that flash once you step on the runes then turn off. You do a loop around back to where you came from, and youre supposed to know to follow a singular blue arrow going into the dark (with no flashlight) which isnt well communicated on thats where youre meant to go. After a short hallway changing segment you walk around and avoid stepping on runes on the floor (fun fact, if you step on them the... lights turn off? And you have to walk all the way back to turn on the breaker every single time) you have to find an axe thats incredibly hard to see then go into a room thats also impossible to see because that corner of the basement is pitch black and you have no flashlight. After you do that, you get your flashlight back. I did not finish this - because I walked around the basement 3000 times and couldn't find anything. When I went to leave the basement, I walked back in and it softlocked me due to a pop up about the axe. Another fun fact- when you enter the basement the door behind you doesn't lock and you can leave, if you do it sequence breaks and makes you start over from the beginning back to the stupid lights and looping. I dont know if the rest of the game would have been an improvement but I decided not to retry because I was so done with 25 minutes of walking around in circles with nothing happening besides needing to turn a breaker back on 300 times. Unfun, unfinished, unpolished and obviously rushed. Even the dialogue felt rushed. When anyone says anything to the main character you get "ok" as the response over and over. No personality, bland and boring. Theres just nothing about this that makes it scary. The enemy ai is bad and barely follows you, then loses interest. He slides across the floor instead of walking. This needed way more time, effort, personality.
