I just started playing Gym Empire maybe about a half hour in to try it out and I have to say I am enjoying it! It is a very chill game! Can't wait to dig into it a bit more and see how deep the tycoon rabbit hole goes! And who knows...maybe this will inspire me to go to the gym haha
What a great game!!! Myself and my 7 year old have been playing this together and we are both hooked! The instructions are very easy to follow from the start and the game's objectives very clear. Before we knew it we had a gym with 5 clients, had recruited a member of staff and have just got to the exciting stage of being able to expand the gym and change the decor and add further features. I would highly recommend this game, we're both looking forward to getting back on the game and creating our little empire and seeing where it takes us. Only downfall is we're fighting over the mouse when we play together :)
Gym empire gives you everything you want from a tycoon game. Plus the radio voice acting is highly amusing. Combine that with the chill music and you're in for hours of cozy building. Just make sure to manage your outgoings and memberships else you will go bankrupt like I have a few times 😅
Really good fun tycoon game, looks great, and fantastic audio (particularly the radio DJs). Those early gains are excellent, offering a chance to start personalising your gym (the red walls and steel floor is a strong look). Don't forget the water cooler!
I enjoyed it at first, but... 1. after manually upping the membership fee (which you have to do often) you ALSO have to individually cancel old memberships with cheaper rates. 2. It's hard to impossible to tell which fee makes sense while 3. upkeep costs and injuries will turn your life hell unless you micromanage every customer's training. Doesn't work as an idler, isn't really fun with the active gameplay. Shame, I was really excited to play this.
I played this for a whole 6 minutes before I got stuck on a bug that wouldn't let me progress. It is currently early access. This might turn out to be a great game but its not yet playable and should not be available to purchase.
HONESTLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME GRAPHICS OK COULD BE LOADS BETTER CONSIDERING WE ARE IN 2025 AND THE TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE TOP TIER WHEN YOU PLAY THE GAME CERTAIN MENUS LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE BEEN CREATED ON WINDOWS PAINT THE GAME IS TOTALLY ABANDONED IS FUN FOR THE FIST HOUR BUT THEN IT BECOMES A BIT TEDIOUS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY RUN FROM THE GAME
