This game is like a relic from a more simple time in gaming, and a breeze of fresh air to be honest. I own this game on PSP as well, but couldn't get that far into the game as I prefer gaming on a bigger screen and a controller in my hand. When i saw this game on steam for the generous price of 1 euro, I knew I had to have it. But as you might expect it has some issues.... - Max resolution is 1080p, not sure if there is a mod for this. -The combat is janky, tho it's expected of a game from this era. -Fighting the camera is making it harder than it should be. -Controls are not always responsive. now...to the positives. + The game has a comfy vibe to it, bright and humorous, there is some dialog that wouldn't sit nicely in today's world,but it's a game..not reality, so you shouldn't let that go over your head. + The music is awesome, with tunes that get stuck in you're head for a while. + wouldn't get so far as to say the voice acting is great, but it's there and it's alright, I used the japanese voice mod to get the original japanese voices. + plenty of extras in this edition, making this version the best version to play. Gurumin is an odd ball in the falcom catalog, a niche title if you will.. if you're into that stuff you'll probably have a great time with this.

A fine one-dimensional action game that feels like it would have been on the PSP or something, with a cartoon setting and plot from when cartoons were fun and generally not abusively emo, unrelentingly gay, or foidcore slop like pretty much every cartoon for 15+ years. It's a bit like the ZWEI!! games, only with better handling than the first, and without the blubbering crybaby cringemonger protag of the secone one. There a handful of "biomes" with a handful of levels in them and you clearn one and unlock some other path and for some reason you get a better rank if you break every single pot like a someone who was personally wronged by a pottery class. Camera is probably the meanest enemy in the game. Any sale is a good time to grab it.

2.9 hours in: The camera is abysmal. Edit, almost 9 hours in now: Still bad, you never get used to it, so if its driving you crazy 90 minutes in, realize that it stays that bad BUT with more complex platforming requirements, so if that's the case, refund before the 2 hours, unlike me. I thought I'd start to tolerate it by now but camera is truly atrocious and has aged like milk. I adore rpgs and action rpgs and there are tons and tons of superior games. All of the Ys games are way better.

Gurumin es un juego especial. Como tal no es nada del otro mundo; historia muy básica, gameplay repetitivo, la mitad de los niveles son copia y pega de los otros en modo espejo. Es de los que o te pillan bien o no te pillan para nada. Y a mi me ha pillado de la mejor de las maneras. Ya desde su cinemática inicial e intro desborda un carisma que te atrapa, y las pequeñas instancias de humor, la inocencia del mundo, su banda sonora más que magnífica, sus ambientes y personajes... Se nota mucho que es un juego de PSP, tanto para bien como para mal. La cámara te puede fastidiar muchas veces, y prácticamente jugar se basa en aporrear un botón muy mucho. Pero me ha enamorado desde el minuto 1, y pudiendo soportar sus problemas, me he encontrado con un juego encantador. A veces, lo básico funciona de la mejor de las maneras; y este es uno de esos casos.

Es un gran juego de plataforma y combate, los niveles son algo cortos pero la dificultad de los combaste y busqueda de los coleccionables hace que los niveles se alargen para bien. Lo descubrí en mi PSP GO y decidí terminarlo por aquí, no está tan mal para pasar el rato y completar todo lo que se pueda en una partida. Recomendado.
