[originally played this fine on an Intel Core 2 Quad + GTX 750 Ti setup] this game's playerbase is dead... but i cherish the memories. i miss this so much... growing up in the US, this was my go-to with all my EU friends at the time for some reason. all the inevitable steampunk-pirate roleplay and uniquely hilarious chaos.. :/ i miss them. this game was so fun. Guns of Icarus executed my silly lil steampunk airship fights in an actually epic manner... it was groundbreaking :( games like this were exceedingly unique.. and still are rare, for some reason? 아묻따로 온라인 게임 헤딩해보고 하시는 분들은 재미있게 해보실 수 있을 것 같은데 우선 저는 친구가 없습니다. 열심히 튜토리얼로 선행 학습을 해보았지만 이 게임 aos 특성상 실수하거나 제대로 못 해볼 것 같은 느낌이고.. 지로보 선인의 말처럼 사람이 여러명 모이면 한 명은 쓰레기라는 명언에 그 쓰레기는 분명 제가 될 것이 뻔해서 튜토리얼만 열심히 깎았습니다. 연습 해볼 수 있게 튜토리얼 말고.. 싱글 한 두판이라도 해보는 모드가 있었다면 좋았을 것 같아요.(만약 싱글모드가 있었다면 그걸 발견하지 못한 저는 정말 지보로 선생님의 말처럼 쓰레기가 맞습니다)

People still coming to play it regularly on events, so it's not dead, it's just hybernating between the events. Events are on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Check Discord server for more info. No need of explaining how the game is good when people still play it after 13 years.

I'm not really an achievement hunter. It's very situational. Depending on the game, I'll deal with that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or I won't. But this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ title has plagued me and considering it has plagued some of you, I have a solve if you haven't figured it out already. See, this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead and the person who bought this for me to play blended back into the friend wall eons ago. Like stone ground mustard into the crevices of a perfectly toasted pumpernickel. We did play, for sure, but you know how seasons of gaming go. You're into something for a really hot minute and drop it cold the next. I dropped it harder than they did, only picking it up when invited. I'm basically a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ vampire like that. I will not crash your party unless I'm specifically invited. Unless there is an agreement that we are mutually on the same footing of close then I will burst in like the Kool-aid man because knowing exactly where you stand is refreshing. Unlike stone ground mustard on perfectly toasted pumpernickel. That's just tasty. And there are eleventy billion achievements, some apparently unlock if you haven't opened the game in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ millennia but it still pales if you weren't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around, being "harducora" like some of the other steampunkadoodles do. ...er, were. Again, I'm not an achievement hunter but I like my game ♥♥♥♥ tidy so I can't have eleventy billion achievements sitting there never to be unlocked. I mean, technically I can. Technically, I can just not give a ♥♥♥♥ but... if I can have my preference, I'm gonna go for it. Enter S.A.M Picker, the nefarious achievement unlocking experience. Never did I expect it to work because the achievements are red. And it didn't. This is not a triumphant story of unlocks galore leading me to move onto my next ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoyance. No, this is reverse engineering the problem, fueled by that very annoyance that would abso-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-lutely like to get a move on to being annoyed elsewhere. So, what the hell can be done?! Those of you who use it, know where this is going and maybe the ones with more than a popcorn kernel between the ears as well but! ...you can relock achievements. i know! So obvious! ...which also didn't work because again, the achievements are red. :P What does red actually mean? Multiplayer games can tie their achievements to their servers or Steam's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and if they are red, Steam and its users say... hahahaha SERVERS you right for lying to everyone by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with that metric. QQ some more about it. If I don't want you to see what I'm doing, I'm not lying. I'm protecting my privacy. Do you see how easy it is to collect data on people even if it's as innocuous as this? :P Ok. Ok. I'll stop being dramatic and yanking your chain. You can just reset them. I didn't have high hopes but here we ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are. After 67 pop-ups asking "ARE YOU ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SURE YOU INSANE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FUDGE SLUDGE?!" Boom. 0 out of eleventy billion achievements unlocked. Nice, tidy and clean. I give not a ♥♥♥♥ nor a ♥♥♥♥ about whether this game has those achievements logged in some bowel of a well watered server. Steam says I have a clean slate. 0 out of eleventy billion achievements and now I can yeet this ♥♥♥♥ out of my library because I intend to never play it again. It is that dead. So. I know it's not unlocking them and I know some people like that weird prestige of trophy ownership or whatever the yuck but, if you don't give a ♥♥♥♥ and just want to spring clean (I know it's late in spring but as long as it's spring and we are set about to clean... AH. HA. Ha—deal with it.😎), this is a way to ease the dumbest of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worries.
