[h1] TL;DR [/h1] Meh in all respects. really wish steam would go with a 1/10 score. my score is 6/10. tries to blend Metal slug, with metal gear solid and put it in a metroidvania. interesting idea but misses the mark. a lot of wasted potential by using mechanics that on their own works well, but fails to come together. IN short it's to easy, you have these impressive boss enemies and you can basically beat them in the first try. the game feels like it wants to appeal to hard core gamers and casual gamers, which is just a recipie for mediocrity. in the end i recomend it, mostly because i apreciate the attempt to inovate, and it's not horrible at the pricetag. [h2] The good [h2] [list] [*] [b] The artwork:[/b] It looks good, but it can't make up it's mind if it wants to be metal gear solid or metal slug. [*] [b] Exploration:[/b] It get's the exploration aspect of metroidvanias Right. good mix of easy and hard to find secrets. [*] [b] Varied locations:[/b] The different areas fell different both artwise and level design wise. [*] [b] Clever use of weapons:[/b] There are times where the weapons you have needs to be used in a clever way to progress. [/list] [h2] The bad [h2] [list] [*] [b] Difficulty level: [/b] Its very easy with plenty of save points that also heal you. not that you need them, the enemy isn't that dengerous or competent. Veterams of hollow knight can complete this game while sleeping. [*] [b] To many weapons:[/b] You have a veritable arsenal of different guns, ranging from shotguns to rocket launchers and sniper rifles. but you really only end up using a few of them, since most of them aren't that usfull except for a few exploration where you need a certain gun to find the secret area. [*] [b] Jack of all trades, master of none:[/b] it tries to be a metroidvania and metal slug and metal gear, and it achieves none of them very well. [*] [b] To broad a target audience:[/b] the artwork and the amount of different guns, appeals to hardcores while the gameplay mechanics and difficulty appeals to casuals. this doesn't work. pick your target audience and stick with it. Um jogo fantástico, muito viciante e inovador na mistura de Metal Slug com Metroidvania.

Absolutely loved this game. A Metroidvania in the style of Contra and Metal Slug. It wasn't too difficult on normal, and I beat most bosses after a few attempts. For the price of a coffee / beer I got 15 hours of fun. Great game.

HEAVY MACHINE GUN but metroidvania! solid metriodvania with run and gun feel to it i kinda wish it was more akin to metal slug/contra but the exploration is solid and kinda marks missables near the end its nice

Uma mistura de Metal Slug + Metroidvania. Jogo simples e divertido. Quem quer um jogo curto e com diversão, podem comprar sem medo.
