It’s basically 'What if Ragnarok had Glocks?' Short, messy, and loud—kinda like my dating life, but actually worth the five bucks.
The gameplay just isn't fun; health is too low, the base weapon range is too short, and dash recharge takes just a bit too long. Get hit 2x and you're done, but multiple enemies can just one-shot you (especially Hunters). It's clear the difficulty is to compensate for the short and simple level design because the levels have an average "par time" < 1 minute. It's a shame the devs didn't make the levels longer and the game more forgiving because it had a lot of potential (interesting concept, nice graphics, variety of maps/weapons/enemies). Instead of being able to enjoy all the cool elements of the game, I feel like I'm playing a no-hit speed run twin-stick shooter, which is exhausting and makes for a terrible singleplayer experience.

Just the other day I looked at my father It was the first time I saw he'd grown old Canyons through his skin and the rivers that made them Carved the stories I was told He said "Son, I have watched you fade in You will watch me fade out I have watched you fade in You will watch me fade out When the grip leaves my hand I know you won't let me down Go and find your way Leave me in your wake Always push through the pain And don't run away from change Never settle Make your mark Hold your head up Follow your heart Follow your heart" Just the other day I stared at the ocean With every new wave another must go One day you'll remember us laughing One day you'll remember my passion One day you'll have one of your own I say "Son, I have watched you fade in You will watch me fade out When the grip leaves my hand I know you won't let me down Go and find your way Leave me in your wake Always push through the pain And don't run away from change Never settle Make your mark Hold your head up Follow your heart Follow your heart, follow your heart, follow your heart" We all get lost sometimes trying to find what we're looking for We all get lost sometimes trying to find what we're looking for I have watched you fade in You will watch me fade out I have watched you fade in You will watch me fade out When the grip leaves my hand I know you won't let me down Go and find your way Leave me in your wake Always push through the pain And don't run away from change Never settle Make your mark Hold your head up Follow your heart Follow your heart Follow your heart When the morning comes and takes me I promise I have taught you everything that you need In the night you'll dream of so many things But find the ones that bring you life, and you'll find me That's where you'll find me That's where you'll find me That's where you'll find me That's where you'll find me That's where you'll find me That's where you'll find me That's where you'll find me"

It was ok...
Seems to be common knowledge that Local Co-op doesn't work for this and my attempts at playing from a steam link with Xbox Controllers was no good. Couldn't even launch into a game with two different controllers don't purchase if this is your intention
Feels rushed and not finished, Movement is horrible. Seems to be one of those unfinished game jam attempts
Do not buy. It's soulless, clunky, unintuitive, and just plain bad. Save your money.
For a paid product this felt very clunky. It controls really badly, It's unbalanced. Seems sort of unfinished in some way. With that base price it's simply a joke. There are better, cheaper alternatives. Visually it was very colorful to look at. But it just isn't fun to play whatsoever. I did only try the singleplayer, though. Maybe co-op is fun, I kind of doubt it. But yeah, overall just a waste of cash. Don't bother with Gunnheim, avoid it. I sadly have to give a negative review. Decent attempt, but it simply aint fun. Basically It is only like barely playable. Especially with the weird input delays.
This was one of the first games I played on Steam, at the time I really like it. Is it worth 15.-$? No. I also remember it was not easy to get all the achievements. Nevertheless I will hide this from my library, as it isn't up to my standards now.
