Thinky snake-like puzzles in a very basic implementation.
[b]What is it:[/b] A puzzle version of Snake. Navigate at your own pace through mazes, eating apples to grow, careful not to get stuck in a corner. The goal in every level is to eat all the apples. More mechanics include toggle or push buttons, deadly spikes, black apples that shrink, slippery ice, reverse powerups that allow you to reverse the snake once, and the ability to summon a second snake that moves in tandem.

This looks like a very basic game, but the puzzles are decent. I think it’s the first game of a junior dev without artistic talent, since all the assets are from elsewhere. It doesn’t look great, but it has a good level select, undo, decent keyboard controls, and all the levels are unlocked. If you’re OK with the lack of settings, alternative controls, smooth graphics, animations, and other modern features, given that it’s free, it is a worthy little game to try if you like a brain challenge.

[b]How hard is it:[/b] Above easy, some levels are a bit challenging, and a few are actually quite tricky, you have to avoid the "obvious" solution that doesn't work and try something unexpected.
[b]How long is it:[/b] 40 levels, about 2 hours, all are unlocked from the start.
[b]Level design:[/b] OK. Different types of levels including simple mazes, resource management, tandem movement planning, pathfinding, sliding, sokoban.

[b]Quality:[/b] Very basic. Undo, including reverting a deadly move, but not through manual restarts. Good level select. Keyboard only controls. Just two audio toggles, no other settings. No cloud saving, no achievements. Very simple graphics, mismatched and at different resolutions, no animations, abrupt winning transition. Very small, fast and responsive.
[b]Worth the price:[/b] It’s free, and a worthwhile experience, so yes.
[b]Most positive aspect for me:[/b] Clever puzzles.
[b]Most negative aspect for me:[/b] No cloud saving.
[b]What would make it better:[/b] Mouse and controller support. More settings. Hints. Progress reset, multiple save profiles. Better graphics. No horizontal stretching on less wide levels. Cloud saving, achievements, level editor and Steam Workshop integration.
