這顆巨大綠色溜溜球真好用. 升級後對BOSS有奇效. 不過放大招的默認按鍵配置不好按. 緊急時會不小心沒放出來.直接賠命. 彈幕一多的時候實在是:[我的砲管呢?轉哪去啦?] 敵方也沒有貼近就不對你射擊的設計. 關卡中途會有一些小挑戰.拚高分會需要. 這M1A1(x)跑得真快.整個螢幕都可以跑一圈. 但是每次開遊戲都要調一次螢幕大小.不知道是不是遊戲問題? 操作有一點[黏]的感覺. 好結局未破. 希望還有Sega Saturn其他的作品可以再移植.

I'm no expert player but I have to admit in all fairness that I personally have not experienced atrocious lag on either this or the cotton 2 and boomerang games. While it's certainly not 3 frames for a casual player like myself it seems more than playable and enjoyable.In fact, after the reaction to the switch release I bought this game with some trepidation and was very surprised by how well it seems to run. As I say I am just an Average Joe player and things mau be completely different for expert players as regarding playability.

多方向の強制スクロールSTGです。 ゲーセンで遊んだことのある方なら言わずもがな、といったところでしょうが私は今作が初めてなので 入力遅延やフレームに関しての細かいことは抜きにして STG初心者でもちゃんと楽しめます。 キャラを選んで、打ち方が決まってるタイプではなく道中のアイテムなどで属性？を変化させると弾のタイプも変わる仕様なのがいい。 やり込めばボスによって相性などがわかってくるのだろうと思います。 ゲーム内のオプションとコントローラーのオプションを入力したときでそれぞれ設定画面があるので 両方好みの仕様に変更するのがいいかと思います。

Perfect game, nice port, graphics, soundtrack (1st level is so cool) and art are awesome. After button reconfig zero issues and imho no noticeable lag with it. Absolutely playable on fast OLED and vsync off.

This is a really unique shooter that I totally overlooked in the Saturn era. I remember seeing it for sale in import shops but never quite got around to trying it. It's challenging, looks great, and has a really unique control scheme. Now I wish I really played it back when it game out--hey, you've got to live with regrets. I really wish these Saturn Tribute titles had better emulation performance--but so far this series is all we've got when it comes to Saturn revival titles. So, I'll take it.

I never played the actual Saturn game, but I'm a big fan of shoot 'em ups. Guardian Force switches things up a bit in that the player controls a ground based tank instead of some space fighter jet. To help with the limitation of being on the ground, the player's tank' turret can rotate in 8 directions. Which becomes key to survival. Additionally there are both main gun and secondary weapon upgrades. Although, I found many of the main weapon upgrades to be limited in effectiveness. To the point they didn't feel like upgrades at all, but down grades. And getting the weapon the player likes can be a challenge. Since the upgrade is a little tough to capture rotating around as well as waiting for the weapon type desired. Perhaps the weakest element of Guardian Force is how slippery the tank movement feels. It just doesn't feel accurate or like any other Shump I've played. Especially since this game is a borderline bullet hell. I suspect it has something to with the emulation than it being how the game played on the Sega Saturn. Since the new UI menus are also quite squirrely as well. Overall, it does feel like this game isn't quite the way the original played. Too many things feel like they are just barely holding together from long pauses on some screens and other minor issues. Other than what I've said, it doesn't really affect game play enough to ruin my enjoyment. However, I paid half the asking price and was really itching to play some games that were on the Sega Saturn. I am going to recommend it with a huge however. The however being that if the above technical issues and potentially lag are deal breakers, you might be better served not picking this up. I know the Sega Saturn is infamous for being tough to emulate, and I'd rather play these games through more legal means without getting a Saturn. So, they don't bother me as much if I can manage to get the game for less than $10.
