o segredo é não pensar muito

overall alright. the price of this game is in offer for -50% alright.
Broken. Core mechanic is healing units by putting them inside the home, but the game bugs about 80% of the time and the unit becomes stuck in the home. Eats the unit, but also means you can't heal any other unit.
Before diving into Guardener, I was happily immersed in grinding their other game, Tuin. Both share an absolutely charming visual style, and it took me a little while to adjust from the cozy, tactile mechanics of Tuin to the fast-paced strategic gameplay of Guardener. Each game is unique, but together they showcase the developer's knack for creating delightful and engaging experiences. Tuin is like a warm hug for anyone who loves slow-paced, nurturing gameplay. It’s a cozy farming simulator with wonderfully intuitive drag-and-drop mechanics that make tending your crops feel almost magical. Example: Dragging a seed onto a plot and then adding water feels natural and hands-on, giving you that lovely sense of accomplishment as your little farm blossoms. Guardener, on the other hand, adds an exciting layer of challenge with its tower defense-style gameplay. It’s fast, tactical, and filled with goofy charm, requiring careful planning and precision. Example: Clicking on a defending entity to target an enemy shifts the focus from the gentle creation of Tuin to thrilling protection—still retaining that whimsical visual style. Both games feel like they come from the same heart but cater to completely different moods. Whether you’re in the mood to quietly grow something beautiful or face a silly-yet-strategic challenge, these games have you covered in the best possible way!
Great game. It takes a while to get the hang of it, but you eventually figure it out. With that said, there’s an awful bug that happens quite often: A vegetable will get stuck in the house while healing, which not only locks one troop/worker, but stops you from being able to heal anything else, eventually making you lose the game.
A silly little game of the usual ilk for sokpop, I beat it in less than an hour, but I'll probably grind the other achievements for 100% completion because I did find it fun. Is it worth $5? Hard to say as I so rarely pay full price for games and I'm not sure I'll even get 5 hours of playtime out of it. But in any case, the art and mechanics are cute (though I gotta admit my mouse speed dragging things across the screen being dependent on the "size" of the crop I'm holding a tad annoying, even if it's appropriate), the sound design satisfying, and the music unobtrusive if a little stale by the time you get to Winter (might have been nice to have at least different instruments playing the same tune for each season). If you like games that are tower-defense-y, you'll probably enjoy this one.
Sokpop + fazendinha = dopamina!
