Leaping from mind-boggling heights, bouncing off Champolines, soaring inches from floating islands, BUD can do it all - that look of mild terror, that’s his daredevil face. Help the adorable little robot collect MOM’s scattered ship parts and return them to the moon.

I love this game, end game got a bit buggy but otherwise. 10/10
good game
played this back when it came out as a kid, i can't lie it feels EXACTLY the same. it took me a long time to figure out where all the crystals were, how to do all the challenges, but it was worth it. still need to 100% the game overall, but i've completed its main goals as of now i'll be honest, sometimes the controls are difficult to manage, but it's a lot easier if you play with controller! but it's definitely doable with just a keyboard, so it's not a need. highly recommended for anyone who likes plants/space or a mix of both! (i'm a HUGE space geek, i loved the visuals of the planet and the moon very much even if it's cartoony)
i love the breathe taking world and relaxing sensation tat covers me when i play this game. the only thing i tire from is the movement can be a bit annoying at times but doesn't take away from this wonderful game
Fun but i wish it had more content
Had this on PS3 back in the day and loved it, bought it again just because I want it in my collection on PC. Dont know if ill ever play it again but its a classic and so is the other one Grow Home, Play Grow home first but not sure if it makes a difference. just Home came out first.
I really enjoyed Grow Home and generally accepted some of the woobly controls were just part of it. Somehow getting more upgrades in Grow Up makes the movement even more frustrating. I grumbled through BUD walking like a drunken frat boy who blacked out. I grumbled through glitching with grabbing starplant branches to grow, only to have them shoot away from BUD while he fell because for some reason he didn't hold on to the dang thing to direct it. I grumbled through the overhead view being way too sensitive and ridiculously hard to control making it largely useless. I finally made it to the moon so I can rocket glide to where I want to go without dealing with as many movement issues. Then it just got more frustrating. I played this as long as I did because I enjoyed the first one and I WANT to like the game. Whether I actually do anymore is a different problem entirely. Cannot recommend this like I did the first one. Seriously the physics are awful. A rocket glider shouldn't shoot me directly downwards just because I have slow forward momentum. If I tell BUD to turn right on the glider, he starts turning left even if I'm desperately trying to orient the camera in a direction his movement SHOULD make sense. I get not wanting him to turn on a dime and having aerial physics being part of the figuring out the game. But the physics should at the very least make sense, and even if not, they should be consistent. I cannot find either of those things here and I do not remember this being that large of an issue for Grow Home. Uninstalled with only 2 ship parts left to get. I just don't wanna deal with it anymore.
Grow Up is a delightfully cozy and charming little game about a cute red robot trying to rebuild its crashed ship, M.O.M., and get back on track. My experience with it was incredibly pleasant and relaxing. The character controls feel very "floaty," but you can easily write this off as a feature of the alien planet's low gravity. The mechanics are simple and straightforward, allowing you to master the entire game in less than 4 hours. Visually, the low-poly art style works perfectly here. However, the late-game progression is where the experience stumbles. Even though unlocking new tools makes collecting crystals easier, hunting down the last remaining crystals can easily eat up more than half of your playtime. The worst part is the payoff: once you return to the ship, the onboard computer simply recounts your achievements, and that’s it. There are no ending animations or satisfying narrative closures. Knowing that such a weak and unrewarding finale awaited me, I chose not to finish it completely, as the tedious grind for the final percentage just isn't worth it. Still, if you are looking for a chill, low-stress exploration game to enjoy for a few hours without caring about 100% completion, it's definitely worth a look.
Un juego para desconectarte. Muy sencillo e intuitivo. Simplemente relajante para pasar el rato.
