Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.5/day in the week to Aug 5 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I’m going to start walking into grocery stores and saying “Why is this so expensive?” at every item I look at
This game is great, satisfying gameplay loop and its not too difficult to unlock new things and grow your store. Takes about 30-45 minutes to unlock the next stage of the store. I play for about an hour when I get home from work and it's a really nice stress reliever. Customers aren't really ever rude or impatient, and employees will literally work for 12 hours with one 10 minute break lol. I think $15 is a really fair price for this game. Specifics I love about this game: - Being able to create your own bulk purchases !!! Instead of having to buy everything one by one. - Employees can switch tasks mid-shift. - Everything is fairly cheap and easy to unlock ! I don't feel like I have to grind at all. Everything feels like it progresses at a rewarding pace. Things I wish were better: - You can label storage racks with what items are supposed to go there, but employees do NOT listen. They follow the actual store shelves, but not the storage racks. - You can't upgrade employees to be faster (at least I haven't found out how yet). The slowest employee will always be slow. - I feel like employees should get OFF the bus first, just because there is an awkward period of time where you have no employees for like a minute. Especially if I have one on register and I don't realize they left. - Employees should have a priority to stock shelves that are empty first. It's really frustrating to see my employees try to restock the shelf that is only missing one item when surrounded by empty shelves. Things I genuinely can't stand about this game: - Cardboard Compactor is literally useless lol, I don't notice a difference in money by using it (i assume it gets you money?? idek) and it takes up SOOOO much space, why not just put a dumpster in your warehouse lmao. - THE FORKLIFT?????? I spent like 30 minutes trying to get ONE pallet inside my warehouse. And after 30 minutes of the pallet glitching through the lift, flipping both the pallet and the forklift multiple times, and getting run over by cars, the employees can't even pick up the stuff from the ground. I set them to "cleanup", they pick up a box, and then just stand still and don't move. I have to move an entire bulk purchase by myself </3 </3 - NO MATTER WHAT I set my prices too, they complain about it being too expensive. I don't even really care because they mostly buy them anyway, but hearing "This is way too expensive !!!" over and over is starting to make me go crazy. Everything in my store is set to LITERALLY no more than 50 cents more than retail price. Most of them just went from 1.49 to 1.50 so that checking out with cash is easier, and they still complain. Like don't shop here if ur too broke PLEASE 😭🙏🙏 All that aside, it's lowkey so fun and every day I can't wait to come home from work so I can play this game and then go to bed.

Okay so FIRST OF ALL I just wanna say that Grocery Store Simulator is like the BEST GAME I EVER PLAYED IN MY LIFE and I play A LOT of games okay???? Like I played Minecraft and Roblox and Fortnite and even some games my mom says are “too loud” but THIS GAME??? THIS. GAME. IS. AWESOME. I’m gonna tell you ALL the reasons why it is so good, and there are like A MILLION reasons actually but I’m gonna tell you the MOST IMPORTANT ones because my fingers hurt if I type too long and also I need to eat snacks. 🛒 REASON #1: YOU GET TO RUN A WHOLE ENTIRE STORE!!! LIKE WHAT???? You start with like NOTHING, literally just an empty room that looks kinda sad, like it needs a hug, but THEN you get shelves and boxes and milk and bread and cool stuff and you get to PUT IT ON THE SHELVES!!! And I know that sounds like chores (ew chores) but in the game it’s SUPER FUN because: You can STACK things You can ORGANIZE things You can make it look like a REAL STORE And customers will be like “WOW COOL STORE” (in their heads probably) It feels like you’re the BOSS. Actually no, it feels like you’re the CEO PRESIDENT KING of groceries. 🥛 REASON #2: YOU CAN STOCK THE SHELVES AND IT’S SO SATISFYING OMG Stocking the shelves is like the best part because you take a box and then POP! The items come out and you put them in rows and make it look all PERFECT and it’s like “YESS LOOK AT MY BEAUTIFUL SHELF.” And then someone buys something and you’re like: “HEY!! I JUST PUT THAT THERE 😡😡😡” but also: “YAY I MADE MONEY!!! 😁😁😁” So it’s okay. 💰 REASON #3: YOU GET TO MAKE MONEY AND FEEL LIKE A BUSINESS PERSON You buy stuff for cheap and then you sell it for more money and then you get MORE money and then you can buy MORE stuff and then BOOM you’re rich. I mean like not actually rich because it’s game money, but it FEELS rich and that is what matters. Sometimes I change the prices just for fun, like: $1? $5??? $999999999??? And then customers are like “no thanks” but hey I TRIED. 😎 REASON #4: YOU GET TO MAKE THE STORE LOOK HOWEVER YOU WANT This is my favorite part because you can put shelves anywhere and fridges anywhere and make the store look like: ✔ A tiny cozy shop ✔ A HUGE supermarket ✔ A MAZE (I did that once and all the customers got stuck lol) ✔ A place where everything is just pasta because pasta is awesome You can make it pretty or silly or SUPER CROWDED and the game doesn’t even yell at you. It just lets you do whatever like a cool teacher on video day. 🧽 REASON #5: YOU CLEAN MESSES AND IT’S STRANGELY FUN In real life I do NOT LIKE cleaning. Nope. No thanks. I will run away from crumbs. But in the game??? In the game cleaning is awesome because you have a broom and it’s like swish swish swish and everything looks perfect again and you feel like a HERO OF CLEANLINESS. Someone spills juice? I got it. Trash on the floor? I got that too. The whole store looks like a tornado came through? I FIX EVERYTHING BECAUSE I AM AMAZING. 🤯 REASON #6: CUSTOMERS COME IN AND YOU FEEL IMPORTANT They walk around like “hmm what should I buy” and you’re like “BUY EVERYTHING PLEASE” and then they do and you get money and feel like the coolest person ever. Sometimes they complain and I’m like “HEY STOP THAT I’M TRYING MY BEST!!!” But most of the time they are nice and buy stuff and leave happy. I like when they line up at the checkout because then I’m like: “I HAVE A LINE OF CUSTOMERS. I AM A REAL STORE MANAGER.” 🔥 REASON #7: IT MAKES YOU FEEL SO SMART AND RESPONSIBLE You gotta plan stuff and buy the right things and not run out of food or everyone gets mad. It makes your brain do big brain things like: Thinking Planning Math (ew but also kinda fun here) Remembering (which is hard sometimes but I try) It makes you feel older than 7 but like in a good way. 🎉 REASON #8: IT’S JUST SUPER FUN OKAY???? Everything about it is fun: Buying stuff Selling stuff Stocking stuff Cleaning stuff Organizing stuff Looking at stuff Yelling at imaginary customers in your head Making the store look EPIC It’s like playing pretend but on a computer and everything actually WORKS and nobody tells you to stop. ⭐⭐⭐ FINAL VERDICT ⭐⭐⭐ Grocery Store Simulator is AWESOME and AMAZING and COOL and FUN and EPIC and THE BEST GAME EVER and it should win like 100 awards and everyone should play it forever.
There has been any update on this game be warned
Solid, but requires either youtube to listen to while playing or at least one friend, otherwise it's just really okayish.
Pure stress, absolutely chaotic and it feels like work. Not really like a game that invites you to get a break. Alone it is an unbearable job simulator that simulates this business a little bit too well. However the multiplayer is top notch. I recommend it with friends.
