Note: A wonderful friend gifted me a copy of this game although I was offered a review copy via curator connect from the awesome people over at Jetdogs Studios. ^^
Saving the people through the power of cooking :o

Introduction
Greek Kitchen Frenzy: Dionysus is a time management, cooking game developed and published by Jetdogs Studios. You take on the role of Irakli, who's inherited the family tavern from his late dad, and he learns about Dionysus, the god of winemaking and revelry, feeling angry because the citizens of Hellas have forgotten the joys of eating and having fun. Even though Dionysus wants to unleash his wrath on the people, Irakli pleads with him, vowing to create delicious dishes to attract customers. Dionysus agrees to the challenge, and with the help of various assistants and later, Pasithea, Dionysus' daughter, he tries his best to do so. Of course, there are various obstacles, such as facing Hera's wrath and dealing with a hydra. XD As for the gameplay, you can choose from among three difficulty levels: easy, normal, or hard. (For review purposes, I chose to play on normal mode.) You can also choose your preferred language, assuming that it's among the list available. There are a total of 6 different venues, and each area has 10 levels in which you can earn up to a maximum of 3 stars and find an easter egg in the form of a runaway kitty. In each level, you have to serve customers with their requests, combining ingredients with the appropriate appliances and such. You can earn coins, and the amount that's earned depends on how many stars you achieve. Coins can be used to purchase upgrades in the shop, and these upgrades can include items in the restaurants to make cooking go faster, upgrading heroes' abilities so that they can carry more items at once, and upgrading assistants' abilities as you encounter them. Assistants have a wide range of abilities, such as temporarily freezing the time meter and scaring off customers who intimidate other customers. Also, a trophy room is available although there are no corresponding Steam achievements. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3526958558
Review
I always enjoy a fun time management game, and it definitely has been a while since I last played one. Greek Kitchen Frenzy: Dionysus is that kind of game, and it's sort of a fun spin-off of the 12 Labours of Hercules series. The story is on the light-hearted side. It's fun to follow Irakli as he's trying to save the people through his cooking although the people aren't aware that he's doing that so that they can avoid Dionysus' wrath. I liked the numerous characters that appear as you progress through levels. There are even fun cameo appearances, such as Hercules and Megara. An adventurous vibe can be felt as you play through the game, and despite the dangers that the heroes Irakli and Pasithea face, they overcome all of them and appease Dionysus. Of course, it's the gameplay that's really the focus. I found the levels to be fun and not too difficult to earn 3 stars, especially if you get access to a lot of assistants. Some assistants have more useful abilities than others. Personally, I liked Medusa's stone gaze ability on customers and Chione's time freeze ability the best. Any abilities that give me more time to complete tasks are always a positive. XD https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3526958782 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3526958953 Also, I like that there's a cute kitty that you can find in each level. It can be a challenge to find the kitty, though, because even when you restart a level, that doesn't mean that the kitty will be in the same place. Thus, it's important to keep your eyes open and click on that kitty before it runs off. :o As I mentioned earlier, a trophy room is present as well, so you can hunt for all those in-game trophies. It would have been nice if there had been Steam achievements tied with them, but I don't personally consider that a negative. I can understand, though, if there are people who want to obtain Steam achievements. With the art, it has this beautiful, bright, colorful, cartoony style that I enjoy from games by Jetdogs Studios. The sprites and backgrounds are drawn and colored well, and I really enjoyed viewing the story scenes in between chapters that narrate Irakli's journey. As for the music, there's a nice variety of tracks. While some tracks are familiar, mainly from the 12 Labours of Hercules games, other tracks are new, so it's nice to listen to all of them. They depict that adventurous, light-hearted theme and fit well with the ancient Greek times in which the Greek gods ruled.
Conclusion
Would I recommend Greek Kitchen Frenzy: Dionysus? If you're a time management fan, you especially enjoy games by Jetdogs Studios, and you don't mind the lack of Steam achievements, then I think this is worth checking out. If you are adept at completing TMs, you'll probably finish it fairly quickly. (It took me a little over 5.5 hours to 100% complete the game.) For those who are more novices to the genre, it could take longer. For the price point, I think it's overall worth it (probably because I do enjoy TMs a lot), but you can choose to wait for a sale. ^^
For more detailed, fully complete, high quality reviews like this, please follow The Introverted Gamer, prioritizing heart and soul always. ^^
Greek Kitchen Frenzy: Dionysus is a pure delight! If you enjoy mythology and fast-paced time management games, similar to the Delicious series, then this one's for you. Here, you play Irakli, a tavern keeper on a quest to prove humanity’s devotion to the gods by serving one delicious dish at a time. The premise alone is unique: saving the citizens of Hellas by creating an extraordinary culinary experience that would impress even Dionysus himself. The gameplay is incredibly smooth and addictive. The puzzle element requires you to strategically organize and coordinate the cooking process to deliver a seamless dining experience, ensuring customers remain content and don't leave before their dishes are served. It was a challenge juggling orders while upgrading the tavern and crafting new recipes for the mythical patrons. The interactions with customers are humorous, making each level come alive with personality. Pasithea, Dionysus's daughter, is a fantastic companion throughout your journey, offering guidance and adding depth to the story. The tavern evolves as you progress, becoming a vibrant place for food, laughter, and festivity. This edition expands the experience even further by offering exclusive content that is an absolute treat with entertaining bonus levels, seven downloadable music tracks, and five colorful wallpapers to decorate your desktop. The Hydra was a hilarious (but slightly terrifying) addition to the menu, and arranging my terrace added a satisfying personal touch. The soundtrack complements the game, making the rich world of Ancient Greece come alive with charming visuals. One aspect that could enhance the tutorial is the inclusion of scouting for the enigmatic black cat, a gameplay element reminiscent of capturing Carl the mouse in the popular Delicious series. Greek Kitchen Frenzy: Dionysus is more than just a time management game—it’s an adventure filled with heart, humor, and a celebration of culinary artistry. Whether you’re a mythology buff or just love a great challenge, this game is a perfect addition to your library. Really wanted to play a Time Management game... So here we are. I am familiar with H.O.G.s from these Developers and this game ain't bad. It's colorful, story is fine and you get to find a cute black kitty! (Just note that the black kitty CANNOT be clicked on at times. Like if it appears behind a food item? Can't click on it. If it's right next to the customer? You will also have trouble clicking on it. The cat has to appear in certain spots for you to get it... This bug doesn't happen often, but... It will.) (There is also a bug with Ovens. Yep. If you have enough money going into a new restaurant and you want to upgrade an oven? You can't. It will be locked to "Max" (a "fake" MAX) -> Even though you NEVER upgraded it and it shows that you "can" upgrade it... It's just "locked". Try beating the first level of the new restaurant and the bug will vanish.) The difference between this one and the other TM games are the "Assistants". They have different powers and you can have two of them out. Just...! Don't forget to select them like I did! I was wondering where they went... So overall... I liked mostly everything... Except the last restaurant (and the bugs). I am not a fan of
Hydra
or its "challenge". Unlike the previous "Challengers", this one is like a Final Boss. An annoying one and I don't care for it. Right well... If you want a TM game... Will play any... As I always say: Decide/Judge for yourselves.
