Great Lakes Simulator

Truly disappointing, I was really looking forward to this. If you enjoy going for a ride and having almost no control then have fun. I guess by "simulation" they mean that you have the ability to control the speed and nothing else. I can't think of anyone that would want a game where you have no control over the movement of the ship. I wasn't expecting much, but I was at least expecting the bare minimum

Game sucks would like a refund

Don't waste your time or money. Not a simulator, I wouldn't even characterize it as a game. No control over the boat, you're on rails and along for the ride. Controls are horrible. No way to see what controls are after you load the game, you have to exit to main menu and look in the options. You can't remap keys but I guess that doesn't matter as you don't really control anything anyway. Not next gen or even current gen graphics. Jane's USAF from 1999 had better graphics. Relevant PC specs.. 1Gbps fiber internet connection AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-core processor 64GB Corsair Dominator RAM This is relevant because IT STILL TOOK AN HOUR TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL A 2GB "GAME"! If there's a two hour time limit on refunds, you're probably going to run out of time before this gets installed. I started the "game" as soon as it was installed and got about 20 minutes in before quitting out and hitting the refund system. Hopefully I can get my money back because this trash isn't worth twenty cents, let alone $20. As a personal note, I've grown up on Lake St. Clair. I love silly simulators like "Train Simulator" that my more hardcore gamer friends scoff at and was really looking forward to being able to sail down the Detroit River or over to Chicago and this title seemed to fit the bill exactly. I was less disappointed at eight years old when my Dad went out for milk and never came back.

So the term "Simulator" may not be the most appropriate name for this, you just ride along on the ships, not to mention the ships look nothing like the real thing, they are literally just reskins of the Edmund Fitzgerald. I wanted to be able to actually drive them, not see what it's LIKE to drive them, it's just a big waste of money for a ride-along game, I'll give it a month.

This game is horrible. Graphics, Frames, everything. I cant even refund it because this game requires you to play more than 2 hours to even experience a little bit. If you are thinking about buying this game, don't. Its a waste of money...

Having great difficulty getting this to run correctly on my NEW computer....ugh
