Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best JP #89, worst CA #91 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20/day in the week to Sep 1 → 30.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Got this extraction game (even though they say it's not) for £20. The world feels dead, hardly any loot, and there's very, very slow progression. The enemies are bullet sponges takes a full mag to kill an NPC at close range. Lots of faffing around with bullets and magazines and numerous different types of med kits which is annoying. There is hardly any bag space and your bags have to be filled with food, magazines and ammo, so even if you find any loot you have no space to extract with it. There are more keybinds than there are keys on the keyboard. It has a confusing interface and UI. Even with a RTX 5090 / 9950x3d the graphics look 10 years old on epic settings at 4k, even though the engine is Unreal 5.5. Grass/reeds look terrible, probably due to the artstyle. I play at 4k and the fonts on items are impossible to read they are so small, there is no UI scalability. The game is similar to F2P Arena Breakout Infinite / Incursion Red River, equally slow and clunky. ABI being free makes it obviously better value, but it feels like a poor man's Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The gameplay loop is fly in, complete tasks, fly back to increase reputation which allows you to buy better gear, but you can't afford better gear because there's no bag space and hardly any loot to sell. It's an ok game if it ever goes on sale for say £10, but I can't score it more than 6/10
TL;DR: A game with great potential that focuses more on tactical combat than endless looting. Unfortunately, it's not quite ready yet due to both unfinished gameplay mechanics and Unreal Engine 5 optimization issues. Once you start playing it, you'll quickly realize that Tarkov was — and still is — a surprisingly polished game. I've had this game on my wishlist for quite some time and finally decided to give it a shot. Here's my take—hopefully it'll help someone who's on the fence. <The good bits> The tropical setting is a refreshing change for the extraction shooter genre. The larger, more open environments make firefights feel different from the usual urban or industrial maps. The gunplay feels great, and having to carefully plan your approach before attacking an enemy outpost is one of the game's strongest aspects. I absolutely loved this part. Using blood loss as your health indicator instead of a traditional health bar is a fantastic idea and works surprisingly well. <The not-so-good bits> Audio is broken. It's often incredibly difficult to tell where enemies are coming from. I got killed multiple times by someone behind me while I was 100% convinced they were in front. The economy needs work. By level 18, I could only afford two storage caches, and the buy/sell price ratio feels unnecessarily punishing. No character progression yet. That's understandable for an Early Access title, but it's still something to keep in mind. UE5 optimization is disappointing. There is some optimization, but I honestly expected it to run better than Escape from Tarkov on my RTX 3080 Ti. <The "What were they thinking?!" bit> I was genuinely shocked to discover that PvE still puts you into a shared server with other players. Sure, you can team up with people and tackle difficult missions together if that's your thing. But my goal in PvE is the exact opposite—I want to overcome those challenging missions on my own. Here's why this design completely kills the experience for me: You gear up, carefully plan your approach, call in the helicopter, spend 10 minutes hiking to the objective, and the anticipation keeps building... ...only to arrive and discover that another player has already cleared the entire outpost. All the enemies are dead, all the valuable loot is gone, and you're left walking through the area as if you've enabled a cheat code. Yes, you can still complete the objective, but there's zero satisfaction because you never actually earned it. Even worse, there's no way to know whether an area has already been cleared before making the trip—you only find out once you arrive. That single design decision completely killed my motivation to keep playing. I'll definitely come back after a few major updates because the game has a lot of potential. But for now, it's going back on the shelf.
Great game! But… Will this end up being another game stuck in an endless alpha? The game is already in a much better state than many AAA titles released as version 1.0. It absolutely deserves a 5/5 rating. However, because it’s still in an endless pre-alpha with mandatory wipes, I’d recommend waiting for version 1.0. As long as players keep paying for a never-ending pre-alpha, the studio has little incentive to release the full version. At the same time, they can always hide behind the “it’s only pre-alpha” label instead of being fully accountable for bugs and other issues.
Have only played standard edition don't think it's worth the other editions imo. Bought when it was around 40 which I think is a fair price. Right now do not think it's worth the price, pretty much only check in during their major updates. It definitely I think is a much better immersive military style operation sandbox with looting elements sprinkled in. I found quests far more enjoyable than looting, feels more about being a mercenary tasked in the area moving from location to location investigating the overall outcome of what has happened in this location. Really strong in this aspect. That said it definitely has a lot of rough edges. PVP is not where it need to be at. While it can have it's moments of being fun (Early game was where it was an absolute blast) but ultimately falls flat due to implementation and no doubt a cheater problem. These games always have a cheater problem and ruins the overall experience of the gameloop. So better to stay in PvE so as to mitigate the hassle but PvE shows that right now there isn't much to do within the game as a whole at least at this stage of development. Gunplay isn't great but not terrible, but that's down to my preference I suppose. I don't know what it is but it just doesn't have that feel and can't pinpoint exactly what it is. Just has a off feeling in general not enough it's unplayable but if you've played other shooters it's like it is missing something or doing something not quite right. That said shotgun by far my favourite weapon and felt great to use. I'd spend money once you have more updates and see where the game will be. Right now I'd avoid it.
So good. Huge map. Great community. Love it. 5* all day.
Game is great but the AI is dogshi. Take a guy out from 100m with a surpressed weapon? Cool now the whole base is immediately on alert and knows your exact location and can dome you from that same range with iron sight MP5s. If the AI wasn't so overtuned it would be an S Tier game.
