The game scratches a whole lotta itch. If this is your kind of game, you better cancel some plans. Best part is, they're just getting started and it's already great.
Kidalica 10/10 ! ;) WP!
Grayzone is almost like a real life version of the military but in a game, that helps you get around the map that helps you complete missions and gets you certain weapons that are like real life but also helps track yourself being shot, being quiet near other enemies and also is multiplayer where i was able to get a giant backpack from one to two people that were in my squad with my bestfriend that had been playing the game since 2017.
i WOULD recommend this game to others, i love it.. but because of a multitude of issues in its current state, i can't. I know my rig isnt the most powerful, 4060 i7 with 16gb ddr5. BUT this rig can generally handle any game i throw at it comfortably on medium settings (with a couple of chosen high and a couple or chosen lows) with a comfortable target fps of between 80 and 100fps (sometimes with DLSS quality, sometimes native) and no performance issues at all. This game is atrocious to play on my rig, EVERYTHING except for particle lighting is low, DLSS quality (performance mode or frame gen KILLS my CPU and creates crazy drops) is enabled and i cannot use scopes (the game currently uses PIP scopes which doubles up the rendering image) so i am forever squinting with red dot. I love the vibe, i love what the devs are doing and because of the 0.4 patch fixing performance - this is the reason i finally bought this game.. Now again, i understand its my rig. BUT MAKE THIS GAME MORE ACCECABLE FOR 'LOWER' END RIGS. Crazy fps dips, crazy AI rubber banding from the server (i get 400mb/s) and crazy performance drops with lots of AI all shooting at once. This game needs a serious performance over haul or itll never get out of the 5k current player base it has except for the player base spikes after each update. Other than that - fantastic game and i'd imagine is amazing on beefy setups.
Although Gray Zone Warfare is a PvE shooter, it is disappointing. There is too little endgame content, and you need a powerful PC to enjoy it properly without lag; it’s not a game that holds your attention for long. It is a hardcore, tactical shooter, and the game can be very difficult. I would only recommend buying it when there is a significant discount.
This is the Far Cry we were promised 3,000 years ago. Jokes aside, this game has been incredibly addicting since I picked it up about a month ago. I've spent almost all of my time playing solo, completing contracts and exploring every corner of the map. So far, it's been a blast. The standout feature for me is the body injury system. At first it seems intimidating, but once you learn how it works, you'll be performing field surgery on yourself like a seasoned combat medic. That mechanic alone adds a level of immersion that makes every firefight feel tense and rewarding. This is not a casual shooter. Sessions require a time commitment, and if you have to leave unexpectedly, you'll likely lose the gear you brought into the session. If you're looking for a game you can jump in and out of whenever you want, this probably isn't it. If you're willing to invest the time, though, the payoff is absolutely worth it. If you enjoy tactical shooters with meaningful survival mechanics, this one is definitely worth checking out.
Unfortunately, the overall experience is being overshadowed by the growing presence of hackers. Cheaters using aimbots, wallhacks, and other exploits have become increasingly common, making many matches feel unfair and frustrating. Losing valuable gear and progress to players who are not competing legitimately discourages both new and veteran players. While the core gameplay remains enjoyable, the lack of effective anti-cheat enforcement is hurting the game's reputation and driving members of the community away.
